I was heavily thinking about what Carter said to me earlier. Why was he so concerned about why James' eyes were wandering at my figure? If he wanted some, he could come get it..........ew do I hear myself?

Likes he's not ugly- he's fucking far from ugly, he should be on the cover for GQ magazine! The way his blue sharp piercing eyes sparkle when he looks into my eyes, paying attention if we were having a little moment. His brown chestnut hair that falls in his face as he runs his fingers through his hair, pushing the strands back.

It's in gym when I loose it. I tried to act like I'm not turned on by the way his muscular arms flexes whenever he works out. The way his veins shoot up everywhere, especially his big hands which is every girl's weakness. I know I can't see it, but I know he's fucking ripped underneath. He must worn a muscle short sleeves work out top one time and when I tell you I could see everything- you could see Everything. From his pecs to his six pack/eight pack all the way to his highly defined V.

'Girl you good?' I started twitching a little in my seat as the blood started to rush in my brain, having to breathe more steadily

'Yeah I'm fine' my whole body started to freeze up

'Bare moaning and shit.......' Terry started to laughed

'Moaning?' I was clueless 'was I loud?' I had to ask

'Not even, you just started breathing funny' she said 'and it started to worry me'

'Why the fuck are you over exaggerating that I was moaning then!' I laughed 'if my fingers weren't wet, I would've scrapped your ass already!'

'Are you challenging me Ky?' Terry said very calmly 'you know I got more hold in me, you wouldn't dare wanna mess with me'

'Girl I'll like to see you try' I joked to the challenge

'I've always wanted to know what you wrote in that little notepad of yours......' I spun my head really quickly as I saw Carter leaning near my door peacefully while he sipped on his warm beverage

'Oh shit you scared me!' I laughed nervously 'and this ol' thing- it ain't nothing much' I lied as I watched him walk closer to me as I sat on the bed closing the notepad immediately

'Oh really' he wasn't convinced 'if it's nothing, how comes every time we talk about the case, you're always nose deep, writing something'

I gave him a guilty look as he returned the look back knowing my face told him it all.

'Here.......' I handed him my notepad as he looked at me crazy 'what?'

'If it's personal to you I won't-'

'Just read it Carter' I rolled my eyes 'ain't nothing personal in there'

I watched him put the mug down on the nightstand as he made himself comfortable on my king size bed as I moved a little back, biting my lips due to nerves.

His eyes scanned the notes I recorded (mostly recorded on the recent case he's working on) as he shook his head in approval, making humming sounds.

'So you're the next Sherlock Holmes now?' He chuckled, before looking into my eyes 'you should take on the god damn case.........'

'I'm only the assistant Carter, that's your job' I rolled my eyes before a small smile appeared on my lips

'I'm being serious Ky, you could seriously take on this case and win it very well' he said making me go all hot inside 'look, I wanna teach you something'

'Teach me what?' I raised my brow at where the conversation was going

'I remember the first time I met you and you told me you just finished studying law and you wanted to pursue it as your career........well........'

'Well what?' I asked as he smacked himself in the face

'I wanna train you into becoming a lawyer- we need more intelligent people like you working with our team' he said

'I-er..........'

'Why are you being hesitant now? This is your dream- isn't it?' He tilted his head awaiting for an answer

So this was the favour he was referring about.........

'I-I- I'm just- I don't know what to say' I was speechless

'Well you can start of saying I would like you to train me into a great lawyer' he grinned at me

'I've never seen you smile so damn much!' I laughed at his reaction

'Well when you're happy, I'm happy' he responded

'What day will you train me then?' I asked taking the deal

'Tomorrow' he said

'But we have-'

'I know'
