Right........

Today is the first trial set for Chloe and let's just say that I'm very nervous. Even thought I'm not taking over this trial (thank god!) I'm literally by Carter's side, helping him out. It's just like handing him the evidence and that- ain't nothing too serious, but knowing Carter, he might come up with some other court case and I would actually have to be someone's attorney.

I didn't go over board- a black checkered tailored blazer with a white collared dress shirt underneath. Black tailored trousers and black pump heels. I went simple with my hair, putting it in a top knot (if you knew how much gel I used to slick my hair neatly) and simple jewellery.

'You should've taken this case Kylie' Carter whispered in my ear

'Can you stop!' I turned my face to him, biting my lip 'that tickles'

'Hmm........I know other areas that could tickle you' he teased

'Carter- were in court!' I smiled at his statement

'You act like court is church' he said

Before I could say anything else, it was time to stand up when the judge appeared to his seat.

The lawyer from the opposite side stood up to defend her client. Leaning in forward to get a better look, I saw Carter already looking at the model type beauty- in a matter of fact, he had a face of 'I can't believe you're here' look.

I only got to see her side view, but I could tell she was really pretty. It kinda- no I'm being crazy- it really annoyed me that Carter kept on gawking at the girl whenever she moved her lips, swayed her wide hips, walking effortlessly in her matching black tailored suit that fitted her curves modestly. Her long brown curly hair was slick in a low middle part ponytail.

I wanted to hit Carter.......say something, but we're in court, I don't wanna jeopardise his client's chances of winning her case.

'Your Honor, I believe that my client is innocent, until proven guilty. On that night, January 23rd, my client Cameron did not drug Chloe and rape her given her an STD. My client has clearly explained himself and said that he did not drug her and he had sex with her given him her consent- he did not give her a STD' she explained

'The prosecution may call its first witness' the judge said

I turned my head a little to see one of the girls that came from behind the seats I was sitting in, that seemed to be one of Chloe'a friends.

'Where did you and your friends go on the night of January 23rd Emma?' The opposing lawyer asked

'We went to The exchange nightclub' she spoke as the lawyer nodded

'Okay- when did you ever come across my client?' She asked

'Well me and my friends saw him when we spotted him giving glances to Chloe, so we thought it was a good idea that she introduces herself to him since he was checking her out' she spoke

'So they went and spoke- did you see Cameron drop anything in Chloe's drink?' She asked as I could see Emma swallow hard

'Well no-'

'Okay then Emma that'll be enough questions from me for now' she smiled before she walked back to her desk

'Who the hell was she? Why were you staring at her like that? Are you even listening to me?' I stomped right behind him question up a storm

'She's no one- for god sake!' He finally turned around frustrated

'SO WHY THE FUCK WHERE YOUR EYES ABOUT TO FALL OUT YOUR FACE!' I screamed out

I didn't give to shits where the fuck we were, this shit has been eating me up during the trial and I'm not gonna let shit slide and act like I ain't seen Carter act a damn fool in front of that lady.

'Oh Carter I didn't know you were against me for this trial?' She came up grinning like a damn fool

Kylie calm down, you don't know her.

'Well everything happens for a reason' he said, forcing a smile

'And who is this?' She adverted her hazel eyes to me

'I'm Kylie, we're just friends' I said smiling back at her

I could feel his sharp blue piercing eyes burning a hole at the side of my face and I could not care less.

'You've got a really pretty friend Carter' she said which to me sounded cringey as fuck

I watched her eyes wandered down my outfit. Her eyes stopped at my chest- FOR GOODNESS SAKE THEY ARE COVERED! I think she noticed that I saw when she bit her lip, moving her eyes back up.

What the fuck just happened?

'Thank you.......' I was trying to be polite and not express how I really felt

'Well, I'll see you some time soon Carter' she headed of to a different direction

Couple seconds went by and mood changed back to being mad again. I stomped off, all the way to the car park as Carter tried to reason with me by calling out my name several times.

Just a little reminder, I ain't judge Judy so I really don't know how this court case scene really works- but I hope it was good enough.
