'No!'

'What the hell do you mean by no?' I asked

'All Kylie is good at is opening her legs for me' he grinned

I can't believe she let that same man that spoke down on her days ago, go all in her walls.

'Okay' I blinked a few times 'but I'm telling you if Kylie took over the case I was supposed to do earlier on- I think she'll do a great job at it' I said

'Look at all the things she wrote about the cases in the notepad' James snatched the book out of my hand and start flicking through the information

In comes in Kylie as me and James both turned around in awe to see who was coming from the door. The curly strands in her bun purposely stuck out as my eyes wandered to her curvy figure that fitted the beige dress she was wearing. The way her legs shimmered and the matching colour heels she wore that gave her more height.

I knew James was staring at her- probably thinking of ways to get her in bed after this one.

'Um I had a call with your client's foster parents and they said they couldn't make it to the meeting for tomorrow- something along the lines that something came up.........' Kylie shrugged

'Did you try to make an another appointment with them?' I asked her

'I did but they said they didn't know when the next time they were going to be free' she said

'Go to their house unexpected- they're hiding something' James suggested

'No-' Kylie paused as we both snapped our heads to her attention 'there is no point. It's better of saying you tried to contact them but they never made any days to show up which could mean they might be hiding something........leading us to create another case if there actually turned out to be problems in the home before the girl ran away'

'They can't lie in court, but they can lie outside of court' Kylie reminded

'Hmm........is this yours Kylie' a grin appeared on James' face as her eyes went wide

Kylie came stomping towards James as if she was going to smack the man silly 'why do you have my notepad?' She was on the verge of getting it back until he held it higher so she couldn't reach it

'Carter showed me some things in here........he wants you to take over the last case he was working on' he said

'Take on what case?' Kylie looked at me with fear in her eyes

'The-'

'Chloe's case' James interrupted me

'What- no, Carter are you crazy!' She looked as if she was going to slap me

'That's what I thought.........' James mumbled under his breathe as I glared at him

'Carter that's a serious case, I'm not even trained properly to even take on such a case like that.........we need to figure out if she was raped or not, who gave her the STD and-'

'You're training her?' James asked as Kylie paused her sentence

'Technically.........'I rubbed the back of my neck

'What do you know the first thing about teaching a potential lawyer?' He asked further 'I have way more experience than you do I could've-'

'Your ass is old, that's why you know more!' Kylie cut in

'I wasn't talking to you' he told her calmly

'I don't care, if I wanted you to teach me, I would've went to you but I've realised when I'm just around You, all you wanna do is fuck' she complained 'I'm not one of your fucking blow up sex dolls, whenever you feel like blowing my back out when it's convenient for you'

'Why the hell are you complaining now? You've always wanted it, you've never said no' he rolled his eyes

'Well now I don't- go and find some other cat to fuck during your lonely hours' Kylie spat as her eyes adverted back to me

'So what are we going to do now?' She asked looking for answers

'Okay' Kylie gave me a worrying look before she walked out the room
