VALINTINE'S DAY

You yawned as you opened your eyes. You took a deep breath and smiled. You could smell vanilla in the air. You looked down the see the bed covered in soft, pink rose petals. You giggled to yourself as you got out of bed and tried to take a few off of you. Even though you had never personally loved valentines day, you could tell Niall was trying to make it special for you. You stretched as you walked out of the bedroom and went to the kitchen. Your mouth watered as the air filled with the smell of french toast. Niall smiled when he saw you, and he placed a plate on the counter. You sat down and he walked over and hugged your from behind. “Good morning, love” he smiled, kissing your neck. You giggled. You turned your head and gave him a big kiss. “How are you this morning?” you asked. “Im excited” he smiled. You smiled back and cut into your french toast. “This is amazing!” You smiled and he smiled back at you. “Oh! I almost forgot! Happy Valentines Day!” he smiled, handing you some roses from the counter. You blushed. You finished eating and then walked into the kitchen. You wrapped your arms around him and pulled him close to you. “Happy Valentines Day!” You said as you leaned in a kissed him. You stood there, in the kitchen, kissing for a while. You could help but smile when he pulled back and whispered “I love you” “I love you too” you giggled. “Go get ready! Were going to go for a romantic walk” he laughed and you rolled your eyes, secretly excited. You ran upstairs and got dressed. You put your hair in a neat bun and put on some light make-up. You walked down a few minutes later and Niall was already in his coat and shoes. You smiled and slid on your coat and shoes and he led you out the door. It was surprisingly warm out for the middle of February. Niall took your hand as you walked down the street. When you got to the park, you started down the long path. You talked about random things and you didn’t even realize when you got the the end of the park. You turned to Niall and saw him staring down at you. He held your eyes as he slowly got down on one knee and pulled a small black box out from his coat and smiled up at you. You reached up and covered your mouth. “Niall…” you started as he opened the box, which revealed the prettiest ring you had ever seen. “Y/N, i love you so much. You make me a happier and better person and i can’t stand to be without you. You are the one and only person i want to be with for the rest of my life, because i need you. I need you there when i go to sleep and i need you there when i wake up. You are my sunshine and my moon. Will you please do me the biggest honour and marry me?” Niall asked, staring you in the eyes. You took a deep breath and a few tears fell down your cheeks. “Of course!” You breathed. Niall smiled bigger than you had ever seen and he stood up. He took your hand and slid the ring on to your finger. “I love you” he smiled, kissing you. “I love you too!” you smiled. He took your hand and led you back through the park. You couldn’t stop smiling at the ring that sparkled on your hand.
