Down they fell. Head over heels, heels over head, sideways. Their bodies slammed against each other. Alice felt Valentina clinging to her.
"My powers aren't working!" Alice screamed. She couldn't float them, and who knew how long this cavern went.
They all landed in a heap minutes later. Minutes. Alice stood up tentatively, still clutching Mali. She suddenly fell, the whole group did. They had landed... on the ceiling?
They sat in the grass in an open field. Alice's head spun in confusion. What was going on? She first assessed the group.
Alice noticed cuts on her arm and near her torso that she hadn't before. They were likely from her duel with Lucy. Jude had a few minor bruises and scratches. Alice felt a bump on Mali's forehead. Her suspicious about her friend hitting her head were right. "Valentina, you have blood in your hair!"
Valentina shrugged. "I'm alright. Where are we?"
Alice gulped. "The Great Wonderland."
Jude was frantically glancing around. "Where's the exit? We have to get out somehow!"
Alice's face contorted. "We're trapped."
