"You look like a zombie!" Asar sa akin ni Ria.

Hindi ko naman siya ginantihan. I just rolled my eyes at her. Pinili ko na lamang na isubsob ang ulo sa desk ko. My body is too tired. He is so insatiable last night. As always.

Ria stared at me, waiting for an answer. I wanted to tell her the truth because she's like a sister to me. But I can't seem to find a word to answer her. I just shrugged. Sumubsob ulit ako sa desk ko para iwasan ang pagtatanong niya.

Ang isa pa ay kasama kasi sa rule ng set up namin na wala dapat makakaalam nito. No else should know that I'm his bed partner. That's our absolute rule. Parehas kaming malalagot kapag nalaman ng ibang tao ito.

The most painful rule for me.

I sighed inwardly. Narinig ko na pumasok na ang teacher sa room namin. Tinapik ako ni Ria pero hindi ko siya pinansin.

Buong klase ay natulog na lamang ako. Hindi naman ako sinisita ng mga teachers. I'm untouchable, I guess. I am a Lexington for pete's sake. My great grandfathers built this whole school.

Muntik na akong mahulog sa kinauupuan ko. She just shouted my name the moment she walked in to our room. Kinusot kusot ko pa ang aking mga mata para tuluyang luminaw ang paningin. She is creasing her forehead like always. Nasa harap ko na siya. Napaiktad ako nung pinalo niya sa desk ko ang stick na hawak niya.

I glanced to Ria and she gestured her hand to her neck. It means that I'm dead. Parang hindi naman na ako nasanay kay Mrs. Mendoza.

"Ms. Lexington, hindi bahay itong school para tulugan mo lang!"

I nodded at what she said. Lalo siyang nagalit sa inasta ko.

"Detention!" Sigaw niya.

Kinuha ko ang bag ko mula sa upuan ko. Inilagay ko dito ang mga gamit sa desk ko bago hinarap si Mrs. Mendoza. I then plastered a fake smile.

"Thank you, Mrs. Mendoza, wait, hiwalay na nga pala kayo ng asawa ninyo, should I call you Miss now?"

Everyone in the room prevented themselves to laugh but not my bestfriend, Ria. Sobrang lakas ng tawa niya kaya lumaki ang ngiti ko. Napabaling tuloy sa kanya ang galit na mga mata ni Mrs. Mendoza.

"Lexington, Stafford, get out of the room!"

Ria and I were laughing so hard when we walked out of the room. I clung to her arms.
