"Are you really sure you're okay with this one?" He asked. Tumigil kami sa tapat ng pinto ng Mayor's office. He's wearing a dark blue tux while I was wearing a simple yet elegant white dress. Hawak ko ang isang bouquet ng flowers. We're all ready.

"We could do the grand one after Kuya Psalm come back," Pagdadahilan ko sa kanya. Binalita ko naman sa kapatid ko ang kagustuhan namin magpakasal ni Chanler ngayong araw. Pero hindi siya agad makakauwi dahil sa sitwasyon nila ruon. I just promise my brother that we'll do a grand wedding once he go home.

"She's right, bro," Nilingon ko si Kuya Tristan at ngumiti sa kanya. He's with Kuya Iann too and his wife, Agatha. Sila ang magiging witness sa civil wedding namin. Ang kambal ay kasama rin pati si Andra.

"'Wag ka nga, Tristan. Alam kong ganito ka rin nung ikinasal kayo ni..."

Lumukot ang mukha ni Kuya Tristan sa sinasabi ni Chanler kaya naman siniko ko ito upang tumahimik. I instantly understand what they are talking about. Kinasal pala sila? So what happened?

It's so complicated tho.

"Good day, Attorney," Bati ni Mayor Ladezco. Nakipag kamay ito kay Chanler matapos ay sa lahat ng kasama namin sa loob ng office niya. He's the youngest mayor of that our town ever had. Ngayon ko lang ito nakita at masasabi ko may kagwapuhan ito at matipuno rin.

"Your future wife is gorgeous," Pamumuri nito na ikinainit ng pisngi ko. Seryoso kasi ang mukha nito kaya hindi ko inaasahan ang pamumuri nito.

Naramdaman ko ang kamay ni Chanler sa bewang ko kaya naman bumaba ang tingin ko duon.

"Ofcourse," Seryosong sabi niya at lalong humigpit ang hawak sa akin.

The Mayor laughed suddenly. Napakunot ang noo ko sa pagtataka. Kuya Iann lightly tapped Chanler's shoulder. What the hell is happening?

"Calm down, bro," Sabi pa nito pero nahimigan ko ang pagbibiro sa boses ni Kuya Iann.

Huminga lang ng malalim si Chanler bago tumango. Hindi ko naman naintindihan ang mga nangyari kaya nanahimik na lang ko.

The ceremony was simple. May documents lang na kailangan kaming pirmahan.

Napasinghap ako nung may inilabas na velvet box si Chanler mula sa bulsa nito. Nung binuksan niya iyon ay bumungad ang dalawang gold wedding ring namin. The design were simple but it doesn't made it plain. Napakaganda nito! Our names were engraved inside.

He then reach for my hand and gently held it.

"I love you, Kady," He breathe in and I saw how his eyes became teary. "You should always remember that,"

Ilang tango ang ginawa ko. A lone tear fell from my eye. I'm just so happy. I am actually marrying him right here, right now. The man I thought I couldn't have the heart. Yet all along, he was the first one to fall for me. He loved me and still, love me. I could live with it forever.

Like what he said, we started the wrong way so we have this lifetime to make it right. I should now forget our past, our mistakes, so we could both look forward for a better future.

A future with him is my ultimate dream and it is happening from now on.

I slid the ring on his finger too.

"I love you, Chanler," My lips quivered after I said those words.

I fell for him irrevocably. My love for him never faded by the struggles, the pain and everything hindering the both of us. Instead, it made my love for him stronger to the point that it'll never leave my heart.
