Darcey and Sam sat tied up. A cloth in they're mouths. The vampire in front of them, his fangs descending, he leaned in closer to Sam "Wait, step back, Eli." A girl says "My name's Lenore. I'm not going to hurt you. We just need to talk." She tells them Taking out they're gag. "Talk? Yeah, okay. But I might have a tough time paying attention to much besides Eli's teeth." Sam says
"He won't hurt hurt you. You have my word." She said "Really?" Darcey asked, not believing her "Your word? Oh, yeah, great. Thanks. No offence, but you're not the first vampire we've met."
"We're not like the others. We don't kill humans. we don't drink their blood. We haven't for a long time." she says .
"Is this a joke?" Sam asked

"Okay, correct me if I'm wrong here, but shouldn't you be starving to death right about now?" Darcey says.
"We found other ways: cattle blood." Lenore tells them

Now, With a cover over her head, she and Sam were escorted out and put into a car.
