Walking with Andrew down the dock, to sit on the wood edge. Andrew has been acting weird lately, but then again, it's been weird after the war. Maybe I've been acting weird, after going through Tartarus alone.

I hug Andrew and start helping him get to the ladder. The ground rumbles and cracks as I walked faster to the rope. Andrew falls to the ground, getting pulled towards the open pit.

" His ankle!" Hazel yelled out.

In a flash, I had riptide out, and I dove for any string below his feet. But the momentum sent me over the edge. I clawed for any edge I could. Tearing my fingers, my nails digging into the rock. My legs hit the side of the cavern, sending my teeth clattering and a rattle through my bones. A cuss slipped through my lips.

I pull myself out of the memory before I got too deep. I looked at Andrew, the moonlight making his curly blonde hair almost white. " You wanted to talk?"

" Yeah," He said not looking at me, " I've been thinking."

My eyebrows scrunched together, the tension rolling off him in waves. We haven't been like this since my first year at camp. Since before we were friends.

" About what?" I ask, slightly worried.

" About what?" He repeated getting angry, " You. You take all the credit, and you don't even try to give me some. And you think you're so noble. But you aren't. You just can't get that through your thick skull, can you?"

" I-I didn't mean to," I said softly. The fear of my childhood coming back. The fear of being hit.

He sits for a moment. Then stands up, " I think we need a break."

Tears burned behind my eyes, making everything in a blurry mess. I keep staring out at the lake, watching his long, tan legs from the corner of my vision.

" I-I'll let you-" he decides to say something else, " See you around, Percy."

Tears close my throat as I listen to my ex walk away from me. Everything goes numb with every footstep. My heart shatters and I'm left in the dark, cold night.

Tonight is the one night of the year where the harpies go on vacation so we can stay up all night and out past curfew. So no one was worried when I didn't come back to my cabin. So it gave me time to think.

" What did I do wrong," I asked myself. Over and over, and a million reasons came to mind. A million regrets came to mind. A million mistakes came to mind.

But soon I heard footsteps coming toward me. I could tell it was the seven, except Andrew. Leo was the first to speak, as usual.

" Yo! Mcsizz- Perc are you ok?" Being the tear one to see my broken stare and my tear-stained cheeks. I had lost the ability to cry a long time ago.

I didn't want to talk. I wanted to scream but my voice was already raw and hoarse. I slipped closer to the edge, sinking my feet deeper in the water. Hoping to jump in before the other see me, but even I knew they saw me.

Jason held my arm and pulled me up. He sat me in the middle of the circle. I tried to claw my way to the water. I can't be weak in front of them.

" Percy." Piper said, soothing me, "You're ok. Relax. Tell us what happened."

I melted into Jason's grip, controlled by another force, " He broke up with me."
