My head is messed up right now. Hearing about what Savin said and did to Nevaeh along with seeing the evidence has me irritated. There's no way I can marry her now. It doesn't feel right. Anybody that's against my kids are against me.

Right now, we are at Universal Studios. Nicki and I are quiet right now, but the girls chatted away as we sat down for breakfast. It's been a good atmosphere so far because we aren't talking about the stuff that's wrong.

"Daddy, what are the plans for today?" Nevaeh asked me while looking at me with that twinkle  in her eye.

I smirked a bit. She looked just like a replica of both Nicki and me. Her and Nilan both were blended perfectly.

"We about to go to the lil amusement park when y'all done eating everything in this cafe." I teased.

Nilan laughed a bit. "You had three meals back to back in less than an hour. I would say that is stress eating."

I shook my head. "You act just like you mama. Smart mouth brat."

Nilan shrugged. "And is."

Nicki muffled a laugh as she sipped some of her water. I cut my eyes over at her.

"What's funny?" I asked her before she gave me an irritated look.

"What's not?"

I sighed and rolled my eyes at her. Leaning back, I put my arms across my chest and kept quiet. She muffled another laugh and shook her head.

"Mom, we should go to the water park. I want to show you my new trick." Nilan said to Nicki.

"We will. I can't wait to see it." Nicki finally said. "I could show you a trick or two too."

I smirked. "I can show you a trick too. Just not that kind."

The girls all looked at me. I leaned backwards again. They wasn't old enough for that conversation.

The girls kept talking and I just listened. I couldn't help but feel irritated that they were laughing about with Nicki and excluding me.

"So, y'all ready to go? We're on a time frame." I cut Nicki off from speaking.

She sat back against the booth.

"Yeah." Nilan answered. She looked at me weirdly and then at Nicki.

No other words were shared.

The girls and I walked out the cafe and got onto the golf cart that was waiting to transport us to the amusement park. I sat down in between the twins.

It took us about twenty minutes to make it there. So many people were out, so Nicki and I had to hide our faces during the ride. He put us out at the front and my security guard gave us the wristbands.

"I want to ride the fireball first. Mom, you want to ride?" Nevaeh asked Nicki.

She shook her head. "Nah. That's okay. Take Nilan with you and make sure Mike is with the two of you. We don't need you two missing anymore."

Nilan smiled wide and grabbed Nevaeh's hand.

"Stick together for real y'all." I warned because Nevaeh good at getting wild.

The three left leaving me alone with Nicki. She stood quietly until she spotted a little basketball game. She then went over and played. She was still good at basketball. She made all the shots and won a big bear.

"Want to give it a try?" The white guy asked me.

"Yeah. Let me gone and show her how it's done." I chuckled to myself.

Nicki sighed lowly.

I grabbed the basketballs and made the first three, but missed the last two. I still got a small bear though for Nevaeh.

"Let me win another for Nilan." Nicki cleared her throat.

She grabbed the ball and started shooting again. She made them all.

"I want the baby brown bear for my other baby." She told the guy.

He handed her the big teddy bear and she struggled to hold them both.

"See that's what you get for trying to be better than everybody." I pointed out.

"I got these for my children. This was never a competition. I went again because I knew I was going to win again or pay for the bear."

She walked away with a little attitude and I shook my head at her. She acts like a little baby sometimes. It's stupid.

I caught up to her and grabbed her by the arm softly. I pulled her to a lil private spot where no cameras or stuff were and sat her on the chair.

"Listen I know I ain't been the best, but I don't want to be angry with you or nothing and I don't want you to be angry with me either." I spoke up honestly.

She started fixing her shirt and jeans. "Alright. I get it."

"I just want a good little getaway with my girls and you. No drama; no problems. Just me and you being good parents together with our kids."

Sighing, she nodded in agreement.

"And you can cut all that attitude stuff out. Savin ain't getting no where near our girls. It's gonna be okay because I'm gonna handle that all the way. She taken care of for real."

"Okay, Nasir." Nicki said as she cleared what sounded like cold from her throat.

"Now lemme show you how serious I am."

About an hour later, Nicki and I were changed and showered. The twins are still good and riding rides.

Nicki grabbed the room key and fixed her hair back. I broke her back in, so she was limping a lil bit.

"You good? You need to fix that limp." I warned her.

She huffed loudly and laughed. "Please shut up."

"Why you loud?"

"Why you ugly?"

I frowned. "Well damn. Okay."

She laughed again and headed out the door. I couldn't help but smile to myself. Yeah the feelings are definitely still there.
