The whole back of Jack's spaceship broke apart and flew off as they both flew out.

The Doctor yelled 2 words before they were ejected. "The Tardis!"

They both soared out of Jack's ship and aimed themselves at the blue box soaring towards them.

The Doctor was summoning it with his sonic.

They were metres away.

Inches away.

Zap!

The Tardis had been transmatted into a ship up above them.

The Doctor and Jack were losing oxygen.

Space was darkening.

Everything was darkening.

Black.

Shane was pushed into the light so all of them could see.

"What does this one call itself," the leader asked.

"Shane," one of them answered.

There was silence.

Almost like they were thinking.

"Put him to the test," the leader ordered.

"I obey," the Dalek moved over to a control panel and used its sucker to activate a button.

The light flashed blue as Shane clutched his head, dropped to the floor and screamed in agony.

"Stop!" He yelled. "Stop it! Stop!"

"Turn up the power," the Dalek leader examined Shane like a lab rat.

"I obey," the Dalek continued to operate the controls.

Shane screamed louder, he began to squirm around.

"Stop!" The Dalek Leader ordered.

"I obey," the Dalek deactivated the machine and moved away.

"His mental ability is strong," the Dalek Leader assessed. "Take him for processing."

"No!" Shane screamed. "No!"

Shane got to his feet and ran, he didnt know where, he just ran.

"Incapacitate!" The Dalek yelled.

Zap!

Shane collapsed to the floor and clutched his legs.

"I cant feel my legs!" Shane cried. "What have you done to me!"

"AMS!" the Dalek Leader addressed the Hazmat Suited figures on guard to the side of the room. "Carry him!"

They moved forward and lifted the screaming man out of the room.

"What are our orders?" The Daleks all turned to their leader.

"Go to your posts," the Dalek Leader ordered. "Phase 3 must begin!"

The Doctor clutched his head in pain. "All of this transmatting is not good for my health."

Jack was lying on the floor next to him.

"Jack?" The Doctor shook him.

Jack suddenly jumped awake and deeply gasped air into his lungs.

"Back with me now?" The Doctor asked.

"Just about," Jack laughed. "I died? At that. Pfft."

"There's nothing pfft about it," the Doctor looked around him. "We were ejected into space and you ran out of oxygen."
