A month had gone by the investigation was finally over. They were able to rule out Colton,Gabi and Yelena as well as Lydia. It was the second day of the trial.
"Judge Hill is presiding. All rise." The baliff said
Everyone that was in the court room stood up. At the defendent's table was Mason Camilla Lindsey Alex and Bucky. As well as their lawyers. Across from them was the prosecution which was James Barnes and his partner Joe Rogers.
"Good morning. You may all be seated. Prosecution are you ready to begin with your first witness?" Judge Hill said
"Yes your honor." James said as he stood up.
"Go ahead." Judge Hill said
"Prosecution calls Dr Laurel Jacobson." James said
The back door opened as the officer let Dr Jacobson came through the door. Laurel made her way to the witness stand. After she was sworn in she took her seat.
"Dr Jacobson. Please let the court know who you are to the victim." James said
"I am Ms Montgomery's ob/gyn." Laurel said
"Thank you. My first question is how was Ms Montgomery when she first came to you as a patient?" James said
"She was scared and very quiet. By the second appointment she started to open up a little. She had told me that the boy that got her pregnant was no longer in the picture. She was so excited when she found out she was having a girl." Laurel said
"Did Ms Montgomery give off any vibes that she was having personal problems with the baby's father?" James said
"She did say that he wasn't happy with her. Especially with her decision to keep the baby." Laurel said
"No further questions." James said
Mason's lawyer Jefferson Joplin stood up. "Did she give off any vibes that she could be having second thoughts?" Jefferson said
Laurel knew what he was playing at. "If you are asking me if I think she overdosed to kill her own baby. You are wrong cause three days before the incident she was at my office talking baby names and nursery ideas. Her blood work always came back clean." Laurel said
"No further questions from me." Jefferson said
Brandon looked down then stood up. "So you are saying. She was clean her whole pregnancy. Cause according to the dad of the baby she smoked weed alot." Brandon said
"She openly told me that she had been smoking weed before she knew she was pregnant. When she found out she was pregnant she stopped smoking weed and cigarettes. She cleaned up her act for her daughter." Laurel said
"No further questions." Brandon said
"Anyone else from the defense?" Judge Hill said
No one else stood up. "You may step down doctor." Judge Hill said
"Defense you may call your first witness?" Judge Hill said
They called their witness which was someone from the school. The second day of court was starting slow with not so many credible witnesses. After a long day of court Judge Hill called for a recess till the next morning.

Three weeks later
"Prosecution you may call your first witness of the day." Judge Hill said
"Prosecution calls Nova Montgomery." James said
The doors open as she came in. Natasha had helped her with her court outfits. Bucky seen her then looked down.
