𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝕃𝕒𝕤𝕥 ℙ𝕒𝕕𝕒𝕨𝕒𝕟 [ᴘᴏᴇ ᴅᴀᴍᴇʀᴏɴ x ʀᴇᴀᴅᴇʀ]

~Chapter 9~

3rd POV

     Flying above all the At-Ats and the cannon is Supreme Leader Kylo Ren's ship. He and Hux are watching the speeders as they make their descent toward the cannon.

     "Thirteen incoming light craft. Shall we hold until we clear them?" General Hux asks Kylo Ren.

     "No, the Resistance is in that mine. Push through," Ren commands and the At-Ats keep moving, the cannon inching closer and closer to the base. TIE-Fighters start to fly in to destroy the speeders.

     "Fighters! Break off!" Poe demands and the speeders split up and start to move around, tricking the TIE-Fighters and messing with them. The fighters start to shoot and manage to destroy a speeder, and then another, and then another until they are slowly starting to lose their warriors.

     "Come on! We gotta hold until they pull up that cannon!" Poe encourages the team but they are slowly losing hope. The TIE-Fighters start to aim at the ground-force blasters near the big door and the people in the crevasse shoot at them.

     "Rose! You got three right behind you!" Finn warns.

     "I can't lose 'em!" Rose proclaims worriedly.

     Blasters go off once again, but it's not the TIE-Fighters. The Millenium Falcon comes into view as Chewbacca pilots the ship.

     "Whoo! Yeah!" Finn shouts. More and more TIE-Fighters are destroyed as Chewbacca roars in excitement, a Porg yowling with him.

     "Whoo! I like this!" Rey exclaims as she shoots down the TIE-Fighters one by one with the blaster. TIE-Fighters fall to the ground as she keeps shooting.

     "Blow that piece of junk, out of the sky!" Kylo Ren shouts to everyone on his ship as he points to the Falcon.

     "All fighters!" General Hux commands. More TIE-Fighters come and mainly try to attack the Falcon.

     "Chewie! Pail off and draw them away from the speeders!" Rey demands and Chewie roars back to her. Chewie flies the Falcon away from the fight and all of the TIE-Fighters follow it.

     "She drew 'em off! All of them!" Poe exclaims.

     "Oh, they hate that ship!" Finn laughs.

     Y/N is back in the control room and punches the air with her fists in the excitement of Rey being back. Chewie leads them away from the fight and off to the mountain part of the planet. A red-filled ravine shows in the valley and Chewie flies in while Rey keeps shooting them from down below.

     A Porg that's aboard with Chewie, falls face-first to the window, due to Chewie leaning the Falcon to fit in the ravine.

     "Chewie!" Rey shouts as the blaster runs into the walls of the ravine. Chewie roars and leads them to a more opened-up space. Six TIE-Fighters are left, shooting at the ship. One gets destroyed from it flying too close to the ravine's points and explodes. The other ones are still holding up and shooting at the Falcon. The ravine opens up as the Falcon keeps flying away. One TIE-Fighter is destroyed as a large piece of the ravine falls on it.

     The other four were still on the Falcon's tail and kept shooting. Chewbacca keeps managing the ship while also controlling the Porgs that are taking over the control room. Two more fighters are destroyed as they inched closer to the ravine's wall. The sparks from the blaster edging the ravine's walls fly onto Rey.

     Chewie finally leads them out of the ravine and into the open as the rest of the TIE-Fighters are destroyed.

     Back at the fight scene, Rose, Finn, Poe, and a few others are still nearing closer to the canon.

     "There it is!" Rose declares as they see the canon in view. "That is a big gun."

     "Ok, it's heavily armored! Our only shot is right down the center," Finn explains. The canon stops moving and places itself into the white and red ground. The cannon starts to open up, warming up.
