Harry was sat with Liam in the café they usually went to for lunch and all he was doing was poking his food around.

"You do realise you need to eat to have some energy to teach your other classes right?" Liam asked his friend and Harry sighed.

"I just don't get him Liam. I mean why would he just resort to drugs and hanging out with that Shawn person. It's like they have been glued to the hip in the last week." Harry grumbled to his bestfriend.

"And do you know what's worse? He does his homework on time and perfectly just like before. He's always on time to class and he behaves. I can't even find an excuse to detain him and talk some sense into him."

It had been a whole week since he last talked to Niall. And a whole week since he saw the person Niall had been joined to the hip with.

Harry disliked the lad because he could make Niall smile and laugh that hard when all Harry did these days was piss Niall off.

And secondly, Harry thought this Shawn character was a bad influence on Niall.

He had seen him walking around school with Niall wearing shades and he knew why. He actually didn't like the lad but how would he even approach him without letting his and Niall's encounters slip?

"Harry he's still hurting. Love is not something that could just go way in a few days. If that's how he chooses to cope then let him be. He'll soon get over it and come to his senses and he'll be able to look back at the phase. We all have been through a phase of some sort." Liam said but Harry just frowned more.

"But what if he gets stuck in the Shawn phase? I mean he may stop with the smoking but what if that lad and him go a long way?" Harry asked and Liam looked at him with raised eyebrows.

"Uh, that would be a good thing, right?" Liam said unsurely. "You do want him to be happy with someone who can give him what he deserves, right?"

"No!" Harry yelled and looked around, sending some people apologetic smiles. "I mean No."

"No?" Liam furrowed his eyebrows.

"No. I mean yes. I just... Mendes is not what's best for him." Harry said and took an angry gulp of his water.

"As opposed to who, you?" Liam pushed and Harry's angry gaze fell on his bestfriend.

"That's not what I mean and you know it. He's a bad influence on Niall. I don't want him around Niall for a long time." Harry clarified.

Liam looked at Harry. Really looked at him.

"What?" Harry asked when Liam's stare didn't falter.

"Why do you care about who's influencing Niall, so much?" Liam asked.

"I don't." Harry said sharply.

"Yes, yes you do." Liam pointed at him.

"I don't fucking care okay?" Harry said sternly but quietly.

"Then why are you getting your knickers in a twist over it?"

"I'm just concerned because he's my student."

"Ooookay. Then stop sulking and eat your food." Liam said and Harry huffed.

"I... fine." He said and Liam smiled then they got on with eating their lunch.

That afternoon after school was out, Harry walked to the school auditorium along with the head master and a female drama teacher, Mrs. Montgomery.

When they got into the large room. They found all the year twelves set to graduate in a few months chatting happily with their friends and making mindless chatter.
