The Alsina Family

"Uh," I moan as we climax. August kisses my neck. "No uh uh," I grab his face.

"What?," he chuckles.

"I am tired and I really need to shower," I gently push him off of me and grab my washcloth.

"Good give me some time to reload," he smacks my ass.

"I hate you," I laugh and start washing myself.

"I love you too babygirl," After our shower, the kids wake up.

"India can you please get your brother?," I ask her as I make breakfast.

"Adrian come sit down, " India says while having her eyes glued to her screen.

"India," August tries to help.

"Really babe?," he chuckles and walks away.

"Thank you very much," August snacthes hed phone and kisses her cheek.

"Daddy quit!,"

"Adrian sit down now," Adrian climbs onto the seat.

"Mommy can you make pancakes?," Adrian asks.

"No I want grits," India objects.

"Too bad Im making pancakes, " I say flipping the pancakes.

"Babe look," August points to something.

"What?," I look and he snacthes a pancake. "Oh Aug-,"

"Mom can we get a puppy?," Adrian cuts me off.

"No,"

"Please," I set his pancakes infront of him.

"Adrian,"

"Alright alright damn," Everyone stops what they are doing and turns around. 

"What did you say?," August asks.

"Damn,"

"Getcho ass upstairs," August follows behind. He drags himself upstairs and August follows. I cut my pancakes and start eating.

"Oh look at my grandbabies!," we walk into August's mother's house.

"Hey Granny, "

"Hey babies" she hugs them. "Look at you Melanie," I smile and hug her.

"Hey Mom," she gets so happy when she sees us. Things have most definitely changed since the last time you heard from us. Everyday August and I marriage gets stronger and stronger. He hasnt cheated,  no other girls in his phone. We havent left each other's side. India and Adrian and growing up so quickly, I am just happy where we are. No I dont have any sexually transmitted diseases.  No pregnancies. No lies. No problems. Just us being happy.

"I missed yall,"

"Mom what did you do today?," August asks sitting on the couch.

"Oh nothing, what yall do?,"

"We getting a puppy!," Adrian jumps in her lap.

"A puppy?,"

"No we are not getting a puppy," I object.

"We getting a puppy," August sticks by Adrian's side.

"Oh so you gon pick up the poop and tak-,"

"Shh," Adrian puts his finger up. "Mommy you are stressing," I laugh.

"Im stressing?," He nods and walks over to me.

"What you been up to Miss. India?," Shelia asks.

"Honestly nothing," India sighs and puts her phone away.

"What India putting her phone down?," August laughs.

"I can live without the phone," everyobe starts laughing. "What I can," She pouts.

"You can baby;" Shelia rubs her leg. "Im glad yall came by, "

"Of course Mom," I hold Adrian in my arms. We stay there for about half an hour then we head out.

"What do you want to do on your birthday? ," August asks me as he drives.

"I dont know its just another day for me,"

"Mom you have to do something," Adriand suggests. "Go out to a club,"

"I hate clubs now," August chuckles and all the memories come back to me.

"Like a school club?," I smile.

"No baby, " he sighs in confusion.

"I dont get it,"

"Its okay Adrian," India pats his head.

"Hey now watch yo self,"

"Boy you watch yourself," I tell him.

"So you dont want to do anything?,"

"I mean its the same old same old every year babe. I got out to dinner then I go home. Now Im a mother and-,"

"And what?,"

"Things changed since we were in our 20s we did things. Alot of things, things we cant do anymore,"

"Like a jumper," Adrian buds in.

"Adrian look at tge pretty phone," Sge hands it to him.

"Stop treating me like a baby you baby,"

"Loser,"

"Ugly, "

"Fatty! ,"

"Mommy you told her what the doctor said?!," I laugh. This is our daily car rides. This is my family.
