I looked back at my granny just as she was now already frantically running around, getting my stuff ready.
"Damn Baby....Papa is not ready for you yet"
I said rubbing my belly, a sharp pain shot through my stomach and lower back...and it felt like I couldn't breath
"Granny, you have to call Mama" I said leaning against the chair....
"Alright Hunny, just remember Practice your breathing...I'm just going to get your bag now"
I nodded my head, trying to control my breathing
"Hurry Granmama...."
I felt another contraction coming and this one was twice as bad, and it felt like my legs were going to give out under me....
"Granny I don't think I'm going to make it to the Hospital...the baby is Coming Now!"
My granny looked at me Shocked
"Jamar, I've done plenty of home births in my time but baby your a male...you have to get a cesearan surgery for this baby to come out!"
Oh no! I put my arms around her as she guided me to her 1980 Cadillac, I layed my head back and controlled my breathing, Come Baby don't do this to Papa Now...
"Jamar Baby just hang on okay, Control that breathing"
My granny pulled out of the Yard and down the street going slow but fast at the same time
"Granny Hurry...."
"Its okay baby...just breath"
I opened my legs, confirming that my little baby was trying to find Some way of coming out but there wasn't...Dear God please don't let him Suffocate or Something...I prayed just as another contraction hit me hard
This isn't good...its two minutes apart
"Granny...."
"Yes Baby"
I took a deep breath....wiping my sweaty Face...
"Can you Please try and Contact August For me...." I asked with the Most Sincerity in my Voice
"Sure Baby...."
10minutes and a few unbearable Pains later I was rushed into the Emergency Ward....and my mom still wasn't anywhere in sight..
God Please just let me get through this...
My Doctor was there and I could See he was already Prepped
"Jamar....this is Dr Meyers, you remember me?"
I looked at him dazed as he put the oxygen mask over my face and I could actually hear my hard beating in my ears...cause it felt like that moment where everything goes silent, you see people running around you and its like in slow motion
"Jamar we are going to prep you now okay? Your body is going into Shock"
"Aug...Aug..."
I tried to Say before I felt my body start to Jerk....
"Were losing Him..."
