Santa baby, forgot to mention one little thing, a ring

I don't mean on the phone

Santa baby, so hurry down my chimney tonight

Hurry down the chimney tonight

Hurry, tonight

"Jhene you not finna get me in trouble with my grumpy ass son, out of the kitchen. Waddle ya ass back in the family room and sit ya pregnant ass down somewhere." Momma Sonia fussed swatting me with oven mittens as she gradually pushed me out of my own kitchen, continuing to prepare Christmas dinner while everyone was scattered throughout Jeremiah and I's house.

Despite our plans to go somewhere for the holidays, my dreams were squashed and spit on when Dr. Brown told us long drives and flights were out of the question especially since we were expecting the baby any day now.

Now of course my ass was down to bend the rules a tad, but Sergeant Jeremiah, canceled that shit with quickness.

"Momma Sonia come on now, let her season some shit. Ain't no harm in a little salt and pepper shittt." Briana sucked her teeth looking back down at her phone, giggling as she typed away which she'd been doing since her, Jason, and Blessing got here last night.

Jeremiah was pretty direct when it came to stuff he didn't like, and his top pet peeve he was most vocal about was having too many people in his house for long periods of time

Jeremiah was pretty direct when it came to stuff he didn't like, and his top pet peeve he was most vocal about was having too many people in his house for long periods of time. Now don't get me wrong my man ain't mean, he just don't like people.

But since he wasn't able to fulfill his promise of taking the family and I somewhere for the holidays, he agreed to let him family stay with use in the new house for the holiday weekend.

Ever since I was young, I always dreamed of being a part of a big family who comes together on holidays with matching pajamas, games, and all the nieces and nephews running around. And the fact it's now my reality, I am forever thankful.
