after the little hangout at café euphoria, the group went home. jeno, jaemin and renjun went home together, since they live close to each other.
they walked from street to street until they reached this particular one. they went there until one of them had pointed their house.
"oh, this is my stop" renjun said, clutching onto his bag, which had the moomin cake inside, and waved goodbye to the pair. jaemin lives 2 houses ahead from renjun, while jeno lives next to jaemin, so basically they were neighbors. they didn't know about this either, so they just rejoiced when they knew.
renjun got his spare key and went inside his house, enjoying the peace and quiet, but someone, who was shouting chinese, interrupted that. "OH BITCH YOU'RE HOME! WHY'D YOU COME HOME SO LATE!"
and that, that was renjun's step brother, sicheng. renjun groaned as he removed his shoes. "hi, ge. here's a little cake. i ate a slice out of it though" he handed his bag to sicheng while he put away his shoes.
"ah, thanks. is this a moomin cake? they taste very yummy"
"yep."
"who bakes these moomin ones? they're just so good!"
"his name's seungmin. he rarely bakes these, you know? about just two a day"
sicheng nodded and proceeded to eat the cake. "hey jun," he said with a full mouth (full of cake ya nasties), "have you found anyone yet?"
"more like anytwo"
"wHAT?!"
"shh be quiet! the neighbors are going to hear us!" renjun said but his phone's notifications were setting off.
renjun reached for his phone and he looked and opened his newly created chat with jaemin and jeno.
