I stayed at Leah, Carrie, and Alexia's apartment over the night. I didn't dare to go back to Elli and the furious stage.

I still wasn't sure why she went off on me like that, but I had to go back to Elli because Chloe was probably already there.

"Okay I gotta go." I told Carrie.

"Okay, if Elli bites your head off just call me." she said.

I left.

After half an hour of walking, I know what you're thinking 'why didn't she ask for a ride?' well if I didn't Elli would hear me pull up, anyways I was finally there.

Just my luck, Elli's car was in the driveway.

And so was a rental car, that means Chloe had gotten here last night.

I knocked on the door.

Elli answered.

"Hello." she said.

"Hi."

"Where have you been?" Niall yelled out of the background.

"Walking." I replied.

"KAITLIN!!!!!!" Chloe yelled.

She ran up and hugged me.

"Can't... breath..." I blurted out under my breath.

"Sorry."

"Hey." A familiar voice said.

Elli finally let me in when she saw the person who said that wasn't budging.

It was my sister's husband, Ryan.

"Hey." I said.

He hadn't changed much since I last saw him at Chloe's wedding.

He got up and hugged me. (did I mention I HATE hugs!)

Elli giggled after she saw my face when he hugged me. At least he smelt good.

"Kaitlin you look...tired." Chloe said.

"Were you walking all night?" Elli asked.

It actually sounded like she cared.

"Wouldn't be a shocker if she did." Chloe said. "When she was in her teens and had a lot on her mind she would walk all night and some more when she got home after school."

"Really? Did you ever get tired during the day?" Harry asked.

"If I did, I would sleep in Mrs.Vetter's room." I said that then got up and went outside.

IT WAS ALREADY DARK OUTSIDE!

Man, time flies with them.

I sat in a beach chair by the pool and zoned out.

Why did Chloe come down right before Christmas?

Why did Ryan let her?

These two thoughts were floating around in my head mocking me.

Niall came out.

Okay, that was the first time I could be absolutely zoned out and still know my surroundings.

I stopped zoning out.

Niall walked up next to me and sat on the end of the chair.

"Your sister said that you've never had a boyfriend." he said.

Okay, I really didn't feel like talking about my sad life before my singing career.

"Yeah? What about it?" I asked.
