"Are you sure you three are going to be okay?" Sicheng enquired, looking unconvinced as the teens had already started arguing about who got what room.

"I want to sleep on my own," Jeno complained, "Jaemin kicks in his sleep and Renjun cuddles."

"How is that bad?" Renjun retorted.

Jaemin had his digital voice on and was typing furiously, "Jeno's body temperature is ridiculously hot. But I don't mind, I'll try not to kick."

"I'm not sharing with either of you. I'm used to sleeping alone."

"So are we!" The pair responded simultaneously.

Sicheng scratched his head, sighing defeatedly and taking one last look at the living area they were standing in. It was a nice apartment, he would admit. But leaving immature teenagers in it didn't seem logical or wise.

Oh well, it was too late to go back now.

"Renjun, I'm gonna head off, kay?" He called, watching the friends' heads turn to him.

"Oh, of course. Thanks so much for bringing us and helping us settle in," the brunette leapt onto his brother for a hug. The older chuckled, squeezing him back and mock saluting the other two behind him.

"Thanks," Jeno waved, and Jaemin smiled and did likewise.

The door clicked shut once the oldest exited, leaving the three to their own devises.

Renjun cleared his throat, "I have a plan. To sort out this little fight we're having."

Jaemin arched his brow, signing "Do tell" with a scoff.

"I propose we play a game. Winner chooses the room they want, and the last person gets whatever is left."

Jeno whined, "I hate playing those....I always lose. You know what, let's all just share a room tonight? We can treat this as a moving in ceremony and remind ourselves of each other's sleeping habits."

Jaemin agreed to that, making the thumbs up sign and running his hands through his hair. The blonde was smiling the whole time, even in the car. Being able to spend this time together had different meanings for each individual, but for him, he was finally opening up to a side of him he had always shut away.

The idea of being intimate with anyone used to make him sick, and place images of his horrible aunt in his head.

But not now. Not these two.

"Okay. Before anything else, I think we should get food..." Renjun suggested, watching Jeno wander around to the fridge.

"Actually, we should be good this month," the younger exclaimed, pulling a little yellow sticky note out. "Jaemin's parents have us covered."

"Wow, that's so nice of them," Renjun smiled, feeling genuinely thankful for it. Jaemin inwardly thanked his parents, glad they had their backs for this next chapter of their lives.

"So, we have a full fridge, full cupboards, a nice apartment to live in, and the sexiest flatscreen television ever," Jeno hummed, a smile sneaking across his features. "Please introduce me to this technology."

..........

Hours of television and gaming later, since Jaemin had his console brought with them, all three had somehow ended up in shorts, t-shirts and had their hair in questionable messes. The blanket covering them kept them close together, cuddling in for one another's warmth.

Jeno was squished between both, eyes set on the screen while his fingers flew across the gaming remote. He had gotten pretty good, and Renjun had given up just to watch the other two battle.

The oldest's head was rested against Jeno's shoulder, while Jaemin's legs were splayed across them both.

At some point, about an hour and a half ago, Renjun had tried to cook. But it turned into a swearing mess the more he burned certain foods by forgetting about them.

"We'll learn so that we can help you," Jeno had promised, so that issue was going to be the first to be settled.

"Ugh, I just can't beat this guy," the brunette finally sighed, collapsing back and waking Renjun up who was almost asleep on shoulder. "Oh, sorry," he apologised, pulling the older in closer to lie on his chest.

Jaemin yawned, scratching the back of his neck and checking his phone. It was so dark that his eyes had to adjust to the artificial light his device emitted.

Whoops, it's really late, the blonde thought.

"Should we head to bed?" Jeno asked the younger, feeling bad that Renjun was trying his best to hold onto consciousness for them.

"Mmm," Jaemin hummed, switching the television off and leaving them in darkness. The blonde's phone turned on though, shedding some light to guide them back to the room.

The oldest had fallen asleep again, so Jeno lifted him up into his arms, carrying him bridal style to the room behind the youngest.

Jaemin opened the door tiredly, flicking on the light for a minute so that Jeno could gently lay Renjun onto the bed first. The younger brushed the older's fringe off his face, thinking the Chinese looked so pretty when sleeping.

He then slid in beside him, beckoning the blonde over who was refraining from kicking up a fuss over the older's overly affectionate actions with the oldest.

"Don't kick," Jeno chuckled in a whisper as Jaemin turned the light back off and wandered over, hopping under the sheets beside the brunette and curling up closely to him.

This reminded the pair of that sleepover weeks ago. The night they actually agreed to make this whole thing happen. But it also held one particular event the younger two couldn't forget.

Wouldn't forget.

Jaemin wrapped his arms tightly around Jeno who was holding Renjun closely so that he wouldn't fall out. The three were cuddled in together, finding this outcome to not be as bad as they thought it'd be.

The fast heartbeats were ignored as they drifted off to sleep, pushing the emotions aside.

They had to if this was going to work.
