But I can't let you ask me why

Jade's PoV

Mahigit isang linggo na akong iniiwasan ni Althea and I'm starting to run out of patience dahil sa ginagawa niya. It's Sunday and I've decided to wake up early para puntahan siya muli sa bahay nila kasi I'm sure, hindi siya pupunta sa batis. I need to find out why she's avoiding me for almost a week now.

     I parked my car not far from their house and waited a few minutes before I found the person I was looking for.

     Agad akong napangiti when I saw her come out of their house. Ngunit pinigilan ko ang sariling sundan siya para yakapin sana at pagkatapos ay pektusan dahil nakakainis na ang ginagawa niyang pag-iiwas at pagtatago sa akin. Sinundan ko na lang siya ng tingin and saw her enter a house just a few steps away from theirs.

     I wonder whose house it is?

     Pumasok bigla sa isip ko ang babaeng nakita kong kasama niya dati. That lady na grabe kung kumapit sa kaniya. Maybe it's her house and baka may gagawin sila?

     Maybe she'll seduce Althea and take her away from me . . . Oh no! I can't let that happen.

     I quickly got off my car and followed her there.

     Pero ibang tao ang aking nadatnan nang makarating ako sa harap ng bahay. It's Althea's friend, the one she's always with. She's the one I asked yesterday where Althea was. Busy siya sa kaniyang ginagawa that's why she didn't notice me standing here.

     So sila pala ang magkasama yesterday and I think dito rin nagtago si Althea while I waited at their house.

     Napalingon siya sa akin ng hindi sinasadya and her eyes widened in shock. Hindi rin nakatakas sa aking paningin ang pa-simpleng sulyap na ginawa niya sa pintuan ng bahay.

     Huli kayong dalawa.

     "Ah . . . S-señorita b-ba't ho k-kayo n-nandito?"

     "Nakita kong pumasok si Althea dito so don't try to say she's not inside, just let me in and we won't have any problems." I said while raising an eyebrow.

     Wala na siyang nagawa kundi tumango na lamang at binuksan ang maliit na bakod para sa akin. I followed her to the back of the house and stopped in front of a small hut where I could see Althea sitting.

     But Althea didn't seem to notice me standing behind her friend 'cause she's busy strumming a guitar. Hindi rin muna ako nagpakita, I just listened to them as Althea asked what her problem is dahil parang nahihirapan siyang magsalita.

     I didn't wait for her to finish, kaya't napagpasyahan kong magsalita na.

     Nakita kong nanlaki rin ang mata ni Althea before she suddenly got up from the chair. Narinig ko namang nagpaalam ang kaibigan niya na lalabas muna para makapag-usap kami.
