It was one of my very few off days, so, of course, I spent it with Uncle Donald and Huey. We were currently at the bank, trying to get a loan for Uncle Donald. Well, Huey and Donald were trying to, I was zoning out.

I scanned the bank and all its occupants, seeing a very familiar duck. He wore his signature yellow shirt and purple tie, and his tawny feathers were a bit ruffled. He carried a large duffle bag.

"Hey, Fenton!" I called to him.

He looked up nervously, before seeing me and sending me a smile. I went over to him.

"Hey, Marí! What're you doing here?" He asked as I gave him a quick hug.

I pointed back to Donald and Huey. "Hanging out with my Uncle. He's trying to get a loan to fix the boat. You?"

"I'm opening an account. I, uh, figure this internship could maybe... lead to a real job? I guess. So I'm gonna need somewhere to put my money," He explained, now flustered. Poor Fenton, he's always so nervous.

"Ah, be confident." I reassured, "Nothing wrong with being self assured! I'm sure they'll hire you once the internship is up."

We fell into a comfortable silence and entered one of the lines, so that Fenton could see a teller, I suppose.

"Oh! How is Mamá Cabrera? I meant to say hi to her at the attempted diner robbery the other day, but I got a bit distracted," I asked.

"Oh, M'Má? She's doing fine. Still harps on me about the internship, though," He explained, looking down for a bit. "How's life on the houseboat? You said your Tío needed to fix it?"

"Oh, yeah. We moved in with our great uncle while Donald fixes the boat. It's supposed to be temporary, but I doubt it," I shrugged. We moved up in line, and Fenton began talking to the teller lady. I zoned out, not wanting to interrupt his bank conversation.

Suddenly, because Gods forbid we have a calm day in Duckburg, the Beagle Boys burst through the door.

"This is a robbery!" Bigtime shouted, before elbowing Bouncer, who turned around. I groaned, laying my head into Fenton's shoulder. He looked away from the teller down to me, and then to the Beagles, before rolling his eyes.

"Great," He mumbled sarcastically.

"All I ask for is a peaceful day," I muttered, looking over to Huey and Donald.

I noticed the Beagles approaching Huey, so I took my head off of Fenton, before I stormed over to them, as Bigtime greeted Huey. Donald shouted at them, as I got closer. I stood protectively next to Huey, and kept one hand on my hip, and the other in my purse.

"Back off, Bigtime," I hissed at him. I was not about to deal with this today.

He looked at me and his eyes widened in recognition, before he glared at me. He now looked at both Huey and I, clearly ready to jump to the offense.

"You brats have caused us a lot of trouble," Bigtime began. I rolled my eyes. He was literally barely older than I was, yet he acted as if I was a child.

Just then, there was an explosion. I shielded Huey and squeezed my eyes shut before the dust settled. I looked towards the explosion to see a robotic avenger, balancing, or attempting to, on a wheel, almost like a unicycle. Huh. There's something you don't see everyday.

He had white and red armor that connected at the legs to a large wheel, and a visor attached to a helmet that covered his face. There was an interesting symbol on his chestplate.

He swerved for a moment before regaining balance. "Uhhh... hi," He greeted. He sounded a lot like Fenton... which, considering his knack for robotics, made a lot of sense.
