"Come on! Hurry!" Katherine nearly shouted. The three of them continued to run even though their legs begged them to stop. As they ran Katherine could see the sign and an unguarded fence that separated the human territory and the lycans territory.

"Guys...I need to rest."

Katherine and Dallas turned to see Bethany stopping in her tracks. Her hands rested on her knees as she gasped for a breath.

"Come on, Bethany. We don't have time for this. We are literally almost there." Katherine said, getting frustrated. She was so close to freedom she could almost taste it.

"Come down, Katherine. Just give her a second." Dallas replied making his way over to his cousin.

Katherine let out a sigh. 'Maybe we should rest.' Katherine thought as she felt the burning of her legs and found herself breathing a bit heavily. Her eyes moved back to the human units of the city in hope. Suddenly a noise was made to her left. A few yards away from her she saw several silhouettes of people running along the fence of the human territory.

"Dallas! Bethany!" Katherine nearly shouted.

Dallas and Bethany immediately looked toward her with their hearts racing in panic as afraid of being caught. They both rushed over to her and followed her eyes as they saw the people as well.

"Come on that must be the group." Dallas said quickly leading the way with Bethany and Katherine in tow.

All of them were grateful that the human territory was unguarded or they would all have been arrested if seen.

Relief washed over Katherine as she first stepped foot on the soil of the human territory.

After running behind the group for a moment Dallas signaled to them to get their attention that they were nearly startling them in the process. The group slowed down only for a moment for them to keep up, but all of them continued to run until they came upon a very small home with the lights glowing from the windows. In fact this house appeared to be the only with its lights on tonight.

One of the men among them, named John, had stepped forward and knocked on the door three times each knock spaced out. A moment later the door opened and they were greeted by a man. He stuck his head out and looked around all of them then back at John. "Quickly, before someone sees ya. Eleanor they're here!" The man said ushering them in.

Everyone immediately rushed in. Some looked back to make sure no one was following them including Katherine as well. So far the coast is clear. With Dallas being the last one in the man quickly closed the door.

"John, I was unsure you were going to make it." The man said. "It must be tiring from all that running you did to get here."

"Yes, Henry, it took a while, but we made it. Are the ships ready?" John asked.

Henry nodded. "The ships are supposed to transport goods to the next few territories over."

"Ships?" Katherine asked. She has been watching converse since she walked in the home.

Both men turned to look at her. Everyone in the room turned to look at them. "Yes, we are going to hide within the ships that transport goods to other territories, but it will only take us half way there."

"If we are going to leave we need to leave soon." The lady named, Eleanor, said. Henry beside John made his way over to her. Eleanor looked up at him in fear. "Honey, the radio. It just said-"
