Chapter 25- tragic endings

MARSHALL's POV:

I sit on my hotel bed try to stop worrying about Naomi but I can't. Emma called me and said they still don't find her and it's been a whole day. I can't stay here. I can't. I need to fly back to Detroit. After 5 minutes of thinking if I should fly home or not I decided to call Dre

"Yo" I said

"Sup slim"he asked and I sighed

"I don't know man. I can't keep my fucking head out of this fucked up situation" I sigh

"Well what you wanna do man?"

"I'm gonna fly back to the D ASAP man. I can't stay here while my girl is no where to be found ."

"Yeah I know man ever since this girl called you yesterday U ain't been here..if you know what I mean..just go home we'll keep this going another time your girl is more important" he said and I thank god he understands

"Thanks man"

"No problem slim" he said and hung up. I call Paul I tell him to book me a flight now.

After 4 hours I'm in Detroit and I go straight to Emma's house to pick her up. We're going to the police station

"Hi" she said as she got in and I sighed

"Hey" I said and looked at her "anything new?" I asked her

"Unfortunately no" she said and I shock my head

"You talked to her mom?" I asked and she nodded

"She doesn't know where she is" she said and I look at the road

"Fucking hell where can she be?" I asked and Emma sighed

"I don't fucking know. It ain't like her to disappear like that" she said and I nodded

"I just hope she's ok" I said and Emma nodded

"Me too.." she said.
We got there after a 30 minute drive and storm into the place.

"Excuse me we need to report a missing person" Emma said to the officer

"How long has he been missing?" He asked

"For a day and a half now." The officer typed it down.

"Do you know where's the last place he's been in?"

"Yes the local club." She said

"Well I'll have to check something out and it'll take a couple hour." He said and I got angry

"A couple of hour?! There's someone out there that can hurt her and you saying it'll take a couple hours" I raise my voice and Emma tries to calm me down

"Sir you need to calm down" he said

"Look I'll pay any price you want. Just please do anything you can to find her." I said and he looked at me "you know who I am right?" I said and his eyes grew wind once he realized Who I am. "Good so you know what kind of power I have and I can get you fired right now." I said and he kept looking at me.

"Let me see what I can do" he said with a smile. "You can sit down it'll take a couple of minutes." He said and we sat down. We waited for 10 minutes until this officer and another guy walked out of some room.

"Nice to meet you I'm detective Cosby" he said sticking his hand out and I shake it. "Will you come with us to the room please?" He asked and we both followed them. We got to the room and set down. "I need you to tell you anything you remember before..."
