70. Nox

"You are not Killian."

Gumapang ako papunta sa likuran ng isang stone pillar. Umiiyak pa rin ako ngayon dahil naramdaman kong may kulang sa akin. There was a gaping hole inside of me because of Orion's disappearance. The special bond that I had with him was now slowly vanishing. Parang naputol ang taling kumokonekta sa amin nang inalay niya ang kanyang sarili para mailigtas ako.

You are sly for you managed to fool almost everyone. And I knew that you were planning for years to resurrect the prince so I took the opportunity to come instead. You didn't expect it, didn't you?"

Napaawang ang aking labi habang nakikinig at gayundin si Lady Mirage. Pero umiling lang ang huli ng makabawi ito sa pagkakagulat at napahilamos sa kanyang mukha.

"Hindi ikaw ang tinawag ko! You're not supposed to be here!" wika ni Lady Mirage at halata ang pagkataranta sa kanyang boses. Pagak na mang napatawa ang diyos ng kadiliman bago ito lumapit sa babae. Kinabahan naman ako para sa huli.

"Palalampasin ko muna ang talas ng dila mo sa ngayon. You did all the work and you set me free. You are powerful, Mirage. You don't deserve that dumb prince. Be my bride and let's rule Terrazia together," pahayag naman ni Calev habang mas lalong lumalapit sa babae. Bakas ang takot sa mukha ni Lady Mirage na patuloy na umaatras hanggang tumama ang kanyang likod sa haligi.
