Chloe's POV
Everything was perfect - for a minute.
Maddie and Tris were reunited once again - how she found the island I'll never know, but if my boyfriend's best friend was happy, so was I.
Con looked down at me just as I peered up at him, smiling. That's when it happened; a small pointy arrow flew past my head and into the sand infront of us. We all just stood there, frozen. I saw Tris turn around and gasp from the corner of my eye, and then Con did the same. I saw his jaw drop, and he cluthed my hand tightly.
"Run." He whispered sharply. "Just run "
I did as Connor said and made a dash for it, still grasping his hand. We stumbled together through grassy vines, our hearts racing in unison. What the hell was happening?
