"So you're leaving campus today?" McKenna asked me.

I nodded.

"It's so cool that your brother is literally five minutes away."

"Cool?" I chuckled, pulling my key out of my pocket. "Something like that I guess."

I opened my dorm room door for her, letting her go in first.

"I wish my parents didn't live..." She trailed off, stopping short.

"Lee!" Emily called, hopping out of my desk chair.

"Hey!" I said, with a smile. "What are you doing here?"

"Waiting for you? Why else would I be chilling in your dorm?"

I rolled my eyes. "No shit Sherlock. I meant why are you in my dorm room?"

"Oh, your brother wasn't feeling well, so I told him to pop some pills and I'd come scoop you."

I looked over at McKenna, who was just looking between the two of us in confusion.

"Emily, this is McKenna," I introduced, grabbing my wallet from my desk. "McKenna, this is my brother's girlfriend, Emily."

"Hi," McKenna said, stepping forward and putting out her hand.

"It's so nice to meet you," Emily said, pulling McKenna into a hug.

I shook my head. "You know, maybe she's not as hug-friendly as you Em."

"Oh sorry," Emily said, stepping away from McKenna. "But hi, Parker's told me about you."

"He has?" McKenna asked.

I could feel my cheeks heating up.

"I mean..." Emily said, her eyes flickering over to me with an apologetic smile. "You're very pretty!"

"Oh my God," I muttered. "We're leaving now."

"You're really pretty too," McKenna said, with a laugh.

"You can just grab my History notebook," I said to McKenna. "I'll get it from you later."

"Where is it?"

"On my desk."

She went over to my desk, searching for a moment before swiping a notebook off of it, shoving it into her backpack. "Thanks Lee!"

"No problem."

She waved to Emily before leaving my dorm.

"Could you be more embarrassing?" I asked Emily.

"I'm sorry," she complained. "She was really pretty though."

"Let's go."

We left campus, heading for Florida State.

"Hey Emily," Bruce called, as we made our way over to Parker's fraternity.

Emily is very well liked at Parker's frat.

"Hey," she greeted, with a smile.

"Hey Lee," he said, flashing me a smile as he opened held the door open for us.

I just nodded in return, because I knew all that he cared about was Emily.

We headed back to Parker's room.

The curtains were drawn, and he was lying across his bed.

"This is the second migraine in two weeks," I pointed out, as Emily closed the door behind us.

"I know," Parker muttered.

"I made him an appointment with his Neurologist for next week," Emily informed me. "And you can bet your ass he's going."
