I take Fred's hand and lead him to the yard, where we hang out for several hours while the twins are at school.
He and I go on the swings just like the little children we are. I smile, many memories flashing in my head of our life together.
I couldn't imagine anything better than this, and I doubt he could.
"Frederick Weasley, I love you," I announce, intertwining our now adult fingers.
He chuckles. "I love you."
We sit down and reminisce.
I remember when we first met and my first day knowing Fred. It was magical, being friends with such a friendly wizard with far more experience than I.
The Triwizard Tournament occurred on my fifth year, the year full of love and bonding. I remember dressing up for the Yule Ball and my first kiss with Fred.
We began to date not long after that, and I remember with a dark chuckle how Daphne Greengrass thought it was a good idea to try and separate us. It didn't work. Now she's dead.
I enjoyed every moment I had with Fred, even the ones in my sixth and seventh years. My sixth year was terrible where I had Dolores Umbridge as the DADA teacher and later Headmistress. I'll forever shiver at the memory.
Still, that was the year Severus and I bonded.
At first, I just liked helping him clean out cauldrons and organize Potion bottles, but in the end, I really enjoyed his company. He was like a father to me, if I'll be honest. It's not like I ever actually had one of those.
My seventh year was great, too, even if Fred wasn't there. Sure Hogwarts became so dreary and depressing after that (especially after Dumbledore's death) but we kept going.
The Battle of Hogwarts was rough, but I've learned through it.
Severus Snape and Susan Adelman were just two of the many witches and wizards to die there. Both dreads left a horrible impact on my life, especially after my mother's death.
As for Marlene, Susan's sister, she's doing great now. She already has a 4 year old kid and she's married to a Hufflepuff whose name I don't remember. I just hope she's happy.
I am happy, at least.
And I will be, until the day Fred and I can lie down and die at an old age, finally content with our lives.
Until that happens, I'll keep living happily with my amazing husband, kids, and loved ones.~~~~
Published 5-19-20That's the end.
I hope you enjoyed the series. If you didn't, ah well I'm sure it didn't hurt to read.
Thank you for all the support :)))
I'm considering writing a prequel about Arabelle's life at Hogwarts. Is that a good idea?
Anyway, until then, byeeee
And happy reading <3
