So many questions and thoughts are running through my mind everyday,nonstop.I never thought that I would get so nervous about meeting anyone that I'm in a relationship with parents before because every female that I dated. I met their parents like it was a piece of cake.But spending these few days with Sophia and hearing her talk about her parents on how they act around new men in their daughter's life..to be honest... I'm a bit afraid to meet Sophia's dad.I mean it'll be the greatest honor to meet him and his wife.But half of me is completely scared to death but I'll stay in my right mind and think of the positive stuff.As long as Sophia is happy and excited to see her parents then so am I
{Phone conversation}
"What do you mean that we have to come now? I thought it was next month?" Sophia asked
"No,we changed the plan. Your father starts work next month,so we have to do this wedding and honeymoon before this month ends" Sophia's mother replied
"Aren't y'all a bit too--"
"Hey,no matter how old we get,we can still get our freak on"
Sophia groans. "Okay,mom,I didn't need to hear that. You could have just cut my sentence off by saying something else" she said as her mother giggled
"I'm just being real,honey bun. And don't leave Jennifer this time"
"I won't,mom,I'll let her know when we get done talking"
"Where is she now?" Sophia's mother asked
"At her cousin's house. She'll be back by Monday" Sophia replied
"Cousin? Jennifer haves a cousin?" Sophia's mother asked
"Yes,mom,Jennifer haves a cousin. I'm pretty sure that she haves more than one especially on her mother's side" Sophia replied
"I bet! Her mom's sister was fast in the ass"
Sophia gasped "Mom!" She said laughing.
"Well,it's the truth! I can finally say something while Jennifer isn't around"
"I'm pretty sure that she'll laugh if she heard you say that"
"Yea,I'm pretty sure that she will,too. I knew Jennifer's mom for a very long time"
"How long did you know her?" Sophia asked
"I knew Jennifer's mom since middle school" Sophia's mother replied
"Awe,so ya'll was like really close to each other"
"Yea,and ever since Jennifer's mom got pregnant,she told me that if something ever happened to her. I will be the first person that Jennifer will be around with forever"
"Wow,so she was slowly dying from her lung cancer?" Sophia asked
"Around that time? Nah,she found out when Jennifer was graduating high school" Sophia's mother replied
"I bet it destroyed her when she found out"
"It really did,around two in the morning she called me crying like somebody murdered someone close to her"
