I followed Ceci inside, sitting in my seat beside Rowan, her and Corey. The venue soon began filling up with celebrities and guests who had bought tickets to the show, "look I got a photo with her..and her..and him.." Rowan was flicking through her phone as she showed me who he got photos with

"Omg I love her!" I pointed to one of them. We continued talking as a group for a few more minutes until the lights around the arena dimmed. People cheered in the crowd as music started "josh should be in this" Ceci nudged me

My eyes trailed over to one of the mini stages that connected to the main stage by the runways "She looks good in the morning, And she don't even know it. My eyes shot over to Ceci "you said he wasn't gonna be here" I mumble. She shrugged, "I didn't think he would be" she kept her eyes on the show. I watched too, watched as Peyton danced around happily with the dancers while josh stood formally in his place

I couldn't help a small smile grow on my face as I watched him sing, completely unaware of my surroundings. The song came to an end, the stage dimming again as the crowd cheered

"That was cool" Corey looked over to me. I nodded "I guess" I reply. "Oh what? You really gonna act like you didn't just spend the entire 3 minutes of that show watching Peyton instead of your boyfriend" Rowan sassed with a smart look on her face

I rolled my eyes playfully, "I wasn't watching him, I was watching the dance" I lie. She rolled her eyes too just before looking to the front of the stage

The award show went on for about an hour, a variety of performances, speeches and awards given out. Sofia Carson stepped out into the stage, standing by the podium in the centre

"Hey guys! I'm here to give you the nominees for the best top charting songs of this year!" She smiled, the screen behind her coming up with a little video

"Joshua Matthews, cool...Justin Bieber, where are U now..Sabrina Carpenter, Bad Time..Peyton Meyer, Before you go..and Ariana grande, Dangerous woman.." the video read out

I looked to Ceci surprised, "you didn't tell me I was nominated for one!" I smile. She nodded, "I was too scared you wouldn't come if I told you" she chuckled

"And the winner is...Sabrina Carpenter!" Sofia called. My jaw hit the floor "come, stand up" Ceci ushered me up. Rowan, Corey and her stood up with me, giving me a hug before letting me go

I smiled as I made my way over to the stage, going up the steps carefully and walking across the stage until I met Sofia, I gave her a hug "congratulations!" She whispered to me, moving aside for me to say my thank you

"Wow! Never would I ever have thought that I'd be nominated for an award in the same category as them amazing people! Thank you guys so much, I'm literally almost speechless! Uh I'd like to think my friends, Ceci and the team at Hollywood records..Uh Peyton, Amir, the UAN tour team, without you guys I wouldn't have been here today..so thank you!" I smile, listening as the crowd cheered

I followed Sofia backstage before returning to my seat "you won an award!!" Rowan squealed as I reached them..
