(Y/N) grinned at the sight of her clothes neatly folded on top of the white duvet. Today was the scheduled end time of Daisuke's business trip and they will be going back to their own country in a couple of hours from now.

She resumed to counting the used underwear that she placed on the bedside drawer to check if she did not forget any of her precious cotton garments.  As she was about to shove her things in her luggage, her phone suddenly rang out of nowhere. Immediately, she stepped towards her gadget and answered the caller upon seeing who it was.

"Hey, mom!" The young woman giddily greeted while plopping herself on the white bed. Some of her clothes that were stacked on each other were disrupted but she didn't mind. She was too occupied with responding the call.

"How are you, dear? You'll be having your flight at 10, right?" Her grin grew wider with the continuous flow of questions given to her by her precious mother in one-go. She simply shrugged her shoulders as if the person on the other side of the line could actually see her.

"Everything's good and yeah.. we'll be heading out of the resort an hour from now. I'm just readying and checking my things if it's already set."

"Ah, I see. That's good!" (Y/N) stood up once again, her phone still pressed against her left ear. She began to gently place her jeans and pants on the bottom of her travel luggage with her free hand before putting her shirts on top of it afterwards.

"So.. any news that would surprise me?" Her lips were now knitted into a curious small smile as she awaited for the woman in her early 50s to give her answer.

"Oh- yep! About surprises.." She heard a little rustling from the other side of the line as it seems like her mother was looking for something on whatever it is in front of her. It took a solid minute for the middle-aged lady to get back to her phone, her eyes squinting in an attempt to read the lines that were plastered on the blog that she was now reading on her laptop screen.

"..it seems like a new minimalist cafe has sprung up to the peak of popularity around your area and it's all over the social medias."

(Y/N) blinked with her mother's statement, her mind unable to understand why this would surprise her at all. She awkwardly cleared her throat while scratching the back of her head in great confusion.

"O..kay? That's kinda great, mom. But that's not quite-"

"The cafe's ownership title is entitled to your name! You could have atleast gave me and your father a heads up in this business of yours! We are so proud!"

The unsuspecting young woman choked on the saliva that settled on her throat upon sinking in each and every word that was just released to her. Her grip on her phone tightened as she paced back and forth after successfully zipping her bag.

"What do you.. What do you mean the cafe's mine?! Are-Are you sure you're not hallucinating, mom? That must be a-" Her sentence was halted as a sudden realization bumped into her head. The once pale cheeks that she owned became flustered while contemplating about a certain scenario that involves her conservation with her ravenette boss.

"-I'll be calling you back, mom. Something really important came up, I'm very sorry."

"Alright, dear. Take care on your flight! Congrats once again!" (Y/N) bit the inside of her cheek anxiously, ending the call in the process. A grunt slipped past her as she pulled her large luggage towards the door before plopping her self back on the bed.

Her eyes strained on her smartphone placed conveniently just beside her waist. She pursed her lips while her sight was now shifted towards the ceiling.

There was no other explanation on how she was able to own a cafe without spending a single cent but it being brought by Daisuke. She knew she should have made her self clear on that cafe that they've visited a long time ago on how it was just a silly childish dream of hers to be a cafe owner.

It wasn't that she does not want to be one, in fact, it is truly her desire to be handling a business establishment that offers teas and healthy sweets. She is also very thankful and flattered of course that the dear ravenette actually helped her in achieving one of her goals. However, the fact that she won't be able to take care of the cafe given to her was bugging her since..

..she won't be hanging around for too long.

Daisuke pressed the back of his head on the wall of his room he was in while he was sitting on the comfort of his bed. Since the resort walls were quite thin, it was very impossible for him to not hear the conversation on the room beside him; (Y/N)'s to be exact.

He fidgeted with his thumb as the sound on the other side died down, signifying that the call that the young woman had with her mother has ended. It felt really wrong for him to eavesdrop but the fact that she mentioned something about his surprise for her intrigued him.

All he could listen to now was silence and for some reason, he knew that that was going to be her reaction.

Daisuke's oceanic irises landed on the old beige paper that he was gently holding, its nostalgic scent wafting on his nose in a loving manner. His sight scanned carefully on the scribbled bucket list before he placed a small check mark beside one of the set of wishes written on it.

He has to do something to make her successfully achieve these goals of hers in the fastest way possible.
