You with your need to be in control
What power did you gain?
You with your unusual sense of entitlement
What power did you gain?
You felt that my dehumanization
Was the key to your domination
You used your uncanny power of deception
To bring about my destruction
And yet what power did you gain?
We are in recovery and soon we will rise
To use your tools against you
And bring about your demise
My identity is mine
My history is mine
My power never left
It only waits in the wings
For you my good man, to bring you to your knees.
Hola! Back again with something short.
This was actually an assignment my professor made my class do sometime last year. We were given ten words to use in some type of written piece. The topic was using the master's tools to dismantle the master's house. We had to identify what tools the "masters" left the colonized, in any part of the world and if they could use it to rise against them, if they haven't already.
Can you guess the ten words👀?
What tools did the "masters" leave, if any?
Do you think they can be used against them?
Leave some thoughts and see you in the next one💖
