This rage
This hate

It's tearing me up inside
It's eating me alive
Do you see the bite marks that it has left?
Have you seen the chaos within me?
A tornado could never compare.
The worst disaster lives here.
Please listen to me, but plug your ears
The sounds are ghastly.
My heart is breaking.
My soul is splintering.
Glass shattering could not compare.
My reflection is just as broken.
It shows me who I am.
Who am I?
What is real?
Where is here?
When will you leave?
Why am I here?
How do you find love in chared remains?
My heart is barely recognizable to me.
My soul is a cracked shell of what it used to be.
There's no hope for my future
And yet, you stay,
In hopes to being brighter days,
Even when I ask you to go away.
It's for your own safety.
Please stay away!
But not too far,
I still need you.
Please just hold me, and I want you to touch me .
I can try to contain myself,
If only for a moment.
But it's too great!
The flames are burning bright.
It's burning me alive!
The choking smoke is closing in.
Soon it will carry me in the wind.
This fire burns with a swiftness,
Leaving behind ashes for memories.
Please come close, but do stay away.
For your sake,
I will not take you with me.
There is no room in this dark pit for you.
But you can't see yourself without me.
I'm no good for you!
I'm barely any good for myself.
Please....
I , I need you.
I don't want to be here.
But if you're here then I'll stay.
