Burning Fire

After three days of training Toya felt like he was finally getting used to creating these beastly creatures, the only problem was as soon as he would let go of the beasts they would explode. So it could possibly be a problem when fighting in close quarters or near civilians.
He groaned as he gently stroked George's leaves, noticing after a second a figure over his shoulder.
The shorter boy turned to see a flustered Tokoyami gently holding his shoulder as he looked at the walls in uncertainty.
"Hey...I wanted to talk..." the blonde boy hummed as he turned back to George to spray a little water from his quirk onto it.
After a beat of silence Tokoyami made his way slowly into the room, his form clearly showing his embarrassment at the words to come.
"I uh- noticed we haven't talked much these past couple of days. Ever since you showed up with your....your....anyways-" the boy suddenly seemed flustered as he tried to smooth back his feathers.
"Could I...see your face?" Toya slowly turned to allow this request, his blue eyes searing into Tokoyami's very soul.
The bird boy gulped before slowly allowing his feathers to dissipate leaving his flushed pale skin behind.
"What I'm trying to say is, that night...when I saw your...." his cheeks bloomed with red as he fiddled with his fingers, "tattoos....I really...l-like them." Toya, who had prepared himself for the worst, couldn't help but stare at the boy blankly before blushing brightly as well.

"Wait...I thought you hated them?" At those words the dark boy stepped forward waving his arms around as if it would help to combat his message.
"No!! I thought they were beautiful I almost lost myself, but with so many people around I wanted to tell you when we were alone...how beautiful I think you are." As he spoke the bird boy seemed to tense up until finally releasing all his stress with his final words.
Toya seemed to be at a loss for words before he bursted forth, instantly Tokoyami called for the darkness to save him as it seemed the boy was so bright.
Giggling the shorter boy jumped into a hug with the bird boy, his blue eyes gleaming with his joy as he pronounced.
"Never scare me like that again!" He gently placed a quick kiss on the black haired boys cheek causing him to flush lightly.
"I just couldn't get you alone, everyone's sharing rooms and the teachers are watching us like demons." His red eyes watched as Toya seemed to hum deep in thought before giving a nod.
"Then how about tonight we sneak out? We can watch the stars, it's something I've wanted to do with you since we got here." Instantly Tokoyami agreed and the two shared a soft look, but as the door sprung open the turned to find Aizawa staring blearily at the two.
"You both are going to miss dinner and activities if you don't hurry up." Toya giggled, jumping up and down brightly while Tokoyami's face fluffed back up in feathers. He seemed embarrassed to be caught by his teacher with his quirk down but noticed Aizawa didn't seem too surprised.
Toya gently dragged Tokoyami from the room, skipping down the hall as Aizawa made to close the door.
Black eyes fell on a happy little plant before he softly closed the door, making his way to the class ready to drag some away for the remedial courses.
Toya and Tokoyami quickly ate as the rest of the class had finished as they had showed up, all hyped for the test of courage.
Toya was placed with Izuku which caused Katsuki to growl at the soft green boy, "trade with me Deku or die." But Toya was quick to save the boy by latching onto him.
"But Suki you should try to make friends with Doki!" Todoroki took a second before he realized the boy had nicknamed him and seemed a bit honored.
Katsuki glared at the multe haired boy before as if it was all his fault but as Toya giggled and wrapped his arm in Izuku's he couldn't bring himself to fight the boy.
As Toya and Izuku waited for their turn Toya was humming a soft tune when he suddenly winced, his blue eyes falling on the trees around him.
"What?..." he suddenly pulled away from the green haired boy as he reached out towards the plants around him.
Leaves seemed to reach out causing his eyes to widen, he spun around as the Wild Wild Pussy cats faced the villains that had suddenly showed up.
"Fire! There's a fire in the woods." He grit his teeth, now knowing what the trees were trying to say he could practically hear their cries of anguish as their brethren were burned down so suddenly.
As the villains and heroes spoke Toya forced himself to cut off the sounds of the forests cries, needing to focus on the villains in front of him when Izuku jerked forward beside him.
The rest of class 1A had started to make their way out of the woods when Izuku's words caused Toya to perk up.
"Mandalay! I know where he is!" With that Izuku took off, Toya was quick to follow using his power of wind to keep up with the other boy.
"Toya Midoriya wait!" The sounds of Iida's voice caused Izuku to glance to the side noticing his companion he seemed uncertain.
"Why?-"
"We are buddies in this test, so of course I'm going to come!" Was Toya's response and Izuku couldn't help but smile slightly at having someone to get Kota.

As the two came up on the secret spot Kota was always at Izuku used his quirk to launch himself forward taking the blow aimed at the child.
"It's okay Kota! I'm gonna save you!" At Izuku's words the villain seemed to smirk but before he could speak a blast of wind caused the large muscle man to stumble back.
Toya landed softly beside Izuku, his blue eyes taking in the boy as he gave a gentle smile.
"Are you hurt? I can bandage any injuries."

"You're gonna save him?" The villain gave a cackle that caused Kota's skin to crawl, all the while Toya checked over the boy.
Seeing no major damaged he gave Izuku a nod, which caused both boys to sigh in relief.
We got here in time.
"A budding hero would say that. Always spouting off about justice wherever you guys show up." The two watched curiously as the villains arm suddenly seemed to cover itself in muscles and Toya couldn't help but notice its similarities to his vine arm.
"Your names Midoriya right? This is perfect you're high up on our kill list." At those words Toya grit his teeth, his fist clenching as he realized the dire situation they were in.
"I'm gonna torment you real bad! Now show me some blood!" Izuku tried to use his quirk as the villain jumped in for the attack, his muscle covered arm swinging so fast even Toya had a hard time keeping up with it.
As Izuku crashed into the side of the mountain top Toya grabbed Kota and pulled him away from the attack, his hair wiping around as the wind picked up around him. But the villains next words caused the boys world to come to a halt, his heart filling with fire.
"Ah! Wait better yet! That's right might as well tell me if you know, where's the kid named Katsuki Bakugo? We've got a job to do here."
