Man: "And how long have you been back with the bureau?"

JJ: "3 1/2 months, sir."

Man: "A lot has happened since then. Sabbaticals, transfers, reassignments. Five of you remained in the unit?"

JJ: "Agents Rossi, Morgan, Watson and I were there with our technical analyst Penelope Garcia."

Man: "Hmm. You had 14 cases in that time."

JJ: "17, sir."

Man: "Oh, yes. In 14 weeks. That's impressive."

JJ: "Thank you."

Man: "But what's more impressive is the fact that you were reinstated, promoted, and suspended in that short time. I believe that's a record, Agent Jareau."
-
Reid: "Why aren't we in there?"

Rossi: "They're just trying to intimidate us."

Morgan: "Well, that's not about to happen."

Garcia: "I'm not ok with this."

Rossi: "You may not even be a witness."

Garcia: "Sir, I'm not worried about me. Don't they have anything better to do than-"

Morgan: "Baby girl, this is just what they do."

Rossi: "Anything?" he asks when Strauss comes to stand next to them

Strauss: "It doesn't look good."

Watson: "How long is she gonna be in there?" they look at the room where JJ is
-
Man: "Two days?"

JJ: "That's correct."

Man: "How can an investigation be active for just two days when the gathering of intel took months? There's surveillance and hundreds of man-hours to prove it."

JJ: "Yes, that's true, but-"

Man: "How often do you spend months on a case, Agent?"

JJ: "We don't, but this one was-"

Man: "Personal?"

JJ: "Different. It required a lot of detail."

Man: "If this was too big for your team, why wasn't it a joint task force?"

JJ: "We didn't have time, sir. Once the subject was confirmed, we had to act quickly."

Two weeks earlier

Morgan, Watson, and JJ break into an apartment. They look around to find it empty and when they open a closet door hear a clanking sound and look to find an opening on the ceiling that leads them towards the roof. Morgan heads up there and as he looks around he is suddenly knocked to the ground by a figure. The two fight around for a while before Morgan goes to reach for his gun and the figure starts running away

SWAT: "I've got the shot, Agent."

Morgan: "Don't take the shot! Don't shoot! I got him!" he calls out and the figure stops by the ladder and turns to face him with his hands up

Doyle: "Want to kill me yourself, Agent?"

Man: "Do you realize what you've done?"

JJ: "Yes. We put an international criminal with terrorist connections in federal custody."

Man: "You may consider that a victory, but you used government funds for a personal vendetta, never called Homeland Security, and now 6 people, including two of your agents, are dead."
