Girlfriend

I stretched all my muscles and joints while walking with Kael. Papunta ulit kami sa mga Agustin at dala dala pa rin n'ya sina Scooby Doo at Garfield.

"Ate, paubos na ang patuka nila," tinatak ko naman sa isip ko na dadaan ako sa bayan para bumili ng patuka. Napamahal na rin sa'kin ang mga sisiw. Ikaw ba naman ang pag-alagain ng magaling mong kapatid araw-araw.

As we entered the gate of the mansion, my eyes wondered around and saw something unusual. There's this white van parked in the entrance, making it noticable.

I dismissed the thoughts about it. Naabutan namin si Sid na nanonood ng kung anong cartoons sa salas kaya naman pandalas na nagtatakbo si Kael at tumabi sa kanya.

"Bro!" si Sid at kung ano-anong handshake and ginawa nila.

"Si Lorenzo?" tanong ko sa kanya.

"Aray. Ako yung nandito pero iba ang hinahanap mo. Ang sakit, babe," he even acted as if he's stabbed in his chest.

"Ang arte mo, Isidro," dumiretso nalang ako ng library dahil iyon lang naman ang pwedeng puntahan ni Lorenzo.

Sobrang feel at home ako sa mansyon sa kadahilanang parte na ako ng pamilya nila. Kidding aside, they're very welcoming and they don't even care if there are people roaming around here as long as they won't do disastrous things.

Pagdating ko ng library ay walang tao. Baka hindi kami magkasalubong ni Lorenzo kaya ginawa ko na lamang ang dollhouse at inantay s'ya.

I made a few changes in the sketch like adding more details in the roof area and enlarging the windows and doors. In terms of house designs, I'm very fond of those with huge glasses. If possible, gusto kong tumira sa bahay na bubog. Maybe because I like it bright and homey and open.

Growing impatient on waiting, I stood up only to sit again when the door bursted open out of a sudden.

"You should go for it, Enz!" the girl behind Lorenzo said.

"You're imagining things," naiiling na wika naman ni Lorenzo.

Sabay silang napalingon sa pagtikhim ko. Recognition crossed the girl's eyes when she saw me. She was glowing brightly, if that's even possible. S'ya yung may uri ng ngiti na nakakadala. She's got this small face and bold features making her look like a real life doll. Her skin is paper white. And she seemed cheerful and nice and I don't like it.

She smiled then walked towards me. "Hi!"

Sobrang sigla ng pagkakabati n'ya. She's almost jumping when she walked in my direction. I felt something boiling inside me.

"I'm Melissa!" she greeted. "And I'm Lorenzo's girlfriend," walang pasintabi n'yang sabi. "You are?"

I stopped myself from showing any negative reactions and did my best to compose my posture.

"I'm Priya. And I'm not asking," I said as I shook her hand. Malayo si Lorenzo sa amin so I grew confident insulting her girl, but she doesn't seem to mind.

"I should get going. Baka nakakaabala ako," I managed to fake a smile while saying that. I should get an Oscar for this!

"No, it's okay. We won't mind a company," hindi ko alam kung anong meron sa boses n'ya pero asar na asar ako. I did not waste a second looking at Lorenzo. I saw him just watching us in my peripheral vision.

"Hindi na. May bibilhin din ako sa bayan," my feet are itching to get out of this place, another second with her and I'll surely erupt.

"Anong bibilhin mo?" maarteng tanong n'ya. Ano bang pake mo? Laking pasalamat ko talaga at naging palusot ko yung dalawang maingay na sisiw. Dadagdagan ko nalang ang patuka nila.
