"Kael 'diba sabi ko wala munang tatakbo?" naglalaro silang dalawa ni Yñigo sa bahay nina Lola. She insisted us to eat there.

"Magaling na ako, Ate," nagtatampong sabi n'ya na para bang sipon lang ang sakit n'ya.

Maghapon kaming nakatambay sa bahay nina Lola. We would play a lot and they would always make me their princess. They told me they're my knights and they'll protect me so I just laughed at them.

"Yñigo, may paparating na kalaban. Protect the princess!" Kael started making random noises of bombs and gunshots.

"Ako na ang bahala sa kanila. Puntahan mo na ang prinsesa," sabi naman ni Yñigo. I'm currently holding a doll, I have no idea where it came from and it's standing above a chair. Iyon daw ang castle ko.

"Help me! Tulong!" kunwaring sigaw ko, using my tiny and girly voice.

Iyon ang ginawa namin buong araw. I also spent some time teaching them some Math and writing. Madali namang matuto ang dalawa.

A sudden thought of Lorenzo appeared and I shrugged it off. Nasabi ko pa namang papunta kami ngayon.

Miss ko na s'ya. Charot.

The next day came and both Kael and Yñigo are persuading me to let them come. Balak ko sanang iwan muna sila kay Lola pero sobrang kulit nila kaya isinama ko na rin. I did not protest when they brought Scooby Doo and Garfield who's already part of the family.

Binyagan nalang ang kulang.

"Kael, Yñigo, ano nga uling sabi ko?"

"Hindi po tatakbo at magpapapawis," sabay nilang sabi. Hinayaan ko silang pumunta kay Isidro. Tinanong ko sa mga kasambahay kung nasaan si Lorenzo. Naroon daw s'ya sa ginagawang bahay sa gilid kaya doon ako dumiretso.

Nakita ko s'yang nakatalikod at may hawak na folder. He's also talking with two men. Lorenzo did not seem to notice my presence so when the two men glanced at me, he did the same.

"Hi!" I cheerfully greeted.

"We'll talk again later," he said dismissing his men. Hindi n'ya ako pinansin and what he did was walk pass me. Napanguso naman ako pero sinundan ko pa rin s'ya.

The library is where he's heading so I followed him immediately. Tapos na ang ground floor ng dollhouse, meaning I'm making progress.

And because he's fully ignoring me, I did the same to him. Talk about pride.

"Where were you yesterday?" he's the first to break the ice. Hindi rin nakatiis.

"There was an emergency at home," I did not want to elaborate what exactly happened, scared that he might pity my situation. He seemed doubtful of my excuse but he just let it slide.

Pumasok naman si Melissa sa loob na may dala-dalang paper bag. "I have a present for you!"

Tinabig n'ya si Lorenzo at tumabi sa'kin. Hindi n'ya inabot sa'kin ang paper bag dahil s'ya na mismo ang nagbukas sa harapan ko.

"Tada!" she handed me a white box. Based on the design, it's a phone!

"Para saan 'to? Hindi ko naman kailangan," I declined at once. Binalik ko sa kanya ang kahon. I gave her a small smile.

"No, Priya. Bawal mong tanggihan. Magagalit ako sa'yo," She warned me and pushed the box in front of me. I sighed before opening it. "I already installed the apps you'll be using. Naka-log in na rin ang mga accounts mo na ginawa ko."
