MITCH

No more cancer. I'm okay again. I'll be able to see Dani and Amber graduate. And get married and have kids of their own.

I really thought I would die. I was starting to lose it. I kept having days where I didn't remember people. I woke up one day not remembering myself. It was terrifying and Scott took me to the hospital and I stayed there for a week when my memory started to come back. I was really scared.

"Hey Scott." I looked up at him as we cuddled on the balcony.

"Yes Mitch?"

"Now that I'm not dying of cancer, we can grow old and be that cute little old couple walking hand-in-hand down the street."

"And talk about how amazing our kids and grandkids are because of us."

"Exactly. I can't wait. I can, but I can't."

"I can wait. I wanna spend as much time loving you as I can honey. I love you so much." I leaned up and kissed him passionately.

"I love you too."
