"We're already reprinting, Iori," Miyoko said, a big smile painted on her face. "See? A little crush never hurt anybody."

"You're not the one who's in the middle, Miyoko," Iori huffed. She and Inoue had stopped by during lunch to see how the ever-anticipated "nationals issue" had been going, and apparently, it was going great.

"Anyways, people are eating up your story and pictures! Isn't it great?" Miyoko smiled even wider, walking around them and over to the printer in the clubroom. "Besides, it tells the administration to keep funding our club, so it shouldn't be that big of an obstacle to beat."

"Still, poor Aimo is uncomfortable, Miyoko," Inoue ruffled Iori's hair, frowning at Miyoko. "I'm open to taking over. I don't need to be doing the advice column, or anything else, really. I can at least take pictures."

"This is exactly what happened with Yamada last year," Takahashi echoed, turning around. "He kept asking to be transferred by the second semester, and nobody let him, so he full-on quit the club."

Iori went silent. The likelihood of her being there next year was low anyway, so to say that she was going to quit the club was kind of ironic.

"Well, we're going to go to the vending machine now," Inoue sang, linking arms with Iori and dragging her out of the room. It went silent for a moment, and then Inoue spoke again. "I think Miyoko is ridiculously mean for forcing you to stay with the team."

"She panicked pretty badly when Yamada left. They got in a big fight," Inoue said, her normal cheery attitude quickly fading. The day you weren't here before school started."

"Really? And why didn't anybody tell me?"

"Not a lot of people were there anyway. It was me, Takahashi, Yamada, and Miyoko. That's when Miyoko finally asked why he quit, and when everybody found out he had quit too."

"Wait, really? I thought he did it over text."

"He did, but Miyoko didn't tell anyone because she was going to try and convince him to come back. He came in to return the camera and they started screaming at each other over some incident that happened with the team and somebody who graduated."

Somebody who graduated. Iori's mind wandered very quickly, landing on a conclusion she didn't think was wrong.

"When Takahashi said this was the same thing as Yamada, you don't think..." Iori trailed off, her brain connecting the dots all too quickly.
