Teaching was hard, Iori had come to find out. She was only a 22-year-old, not even 10 years older than her students; as a result, she was finding it difficult to focus when they all (pretty much) had the same sense of humor—especially the third years.

The school day came and went, and Iori was off to get ready for dinner. She figured that it would be pretty casual, so she settled on the most comfortable clothes she could think of while still managing to not be hot.

Iori was content, to say the least. Living alone hadn't been as hard as should've been, and she was finding it quite nice to take everything at her leisure. There wasn't much she could get in trouble for, and it was no longer the end of the world if she put off doing the dishes for one day.

Iori bid her new home goodbye, stepping out into the warm summer air. The sun was still high in the sky, beaming down onto the streets like a god smiling on its people.

The restaurant Suna had chosen wasn't too far away from Iori's apartment, thank goodness. She wasn't too good at time management, so the closer it was to her, the more punctual she would be. And, if she sped up a bit, she could make it to the meeting spot in half the time.

The streets were busy around this time, filled with students walking home and parents lugging along groceries. It was kind of weird, now being part of the "adult" population—Iori still felt like a child.

Iori came up on the restaurant pretty quickly, immediately acknowledging its quaintness. It looked fairly calm, probably because the workers were preparing for the rush hour to come. She walked in, immediately spotting Suna sitting at one of the tables.

A smile appeared on her face as she walked up, sliding into the seat in front of him. "Hey!" she exclaimed, putting her purse down next to her. "How are you?"

"Tired," he chuckled, a lazy smile decorating his face. "How're you? Everything good with movin' in?"

"Everything's been fine, yeah. Living alone is a breath of fresh air," she chuckled. Suna nodded, content with her response.

"He just texted me that he'll be here in a second, so we can order when he gets in," he said. Iori couldn't help but notice just how vague he was being—he had been, seeing as he was so adamant on not telling her who else was coming—and, for a moment, she got a little stressed out.

She didn't think it would be one of the Miyas. Iori knew that MSBY practices usually ran pretty late, and Osamu couldn't just leave his restaurant right before rush hour. Maybe she just didn't know the guy, which was a more likely case than anything.
