Part 5

*Next Week on Friday; Alex's PoV*

"Alright see you Sunday Jos" we hug and she gets out of my car and gives me a smile.

"Thank you for the ride" I nod, "no problem at all" I wait until she's inside her house and I drive home.

Her birthday is on Tuesday, but I'm giving her a small surprise on Sunday.

My phone starts ringing as I stop at a red light. I look at the caller ID and drop my phone in the passenger seat.

"Not happening. Just leave me alone!" I yell accidentally honking and I look at the car next to me and see a lady looking at me like I was crazy.

I give her an apologetic smile and I start driving when I see the light turned green.

I get home 5 minutes later. I get out of the car and don't see my parents cars, so I was home alone until later tonight. I unlock the front door and walk in. I close the door locking it. I go up to my room, grab my towel and go in the restroom to take a shower.

*Josie's PoV*

"I'm home" I put my bag in the living room and walk in the kitchen kissing my mom's cheek.

"Hey mija. How was school?"

"It went okay like always. Alex gave me a ride back home. She's taking me out for my birthday on Sunday. She just told me in first period so it's sort of last minute" she smiles.

"Yes yes I know"

"Wait what? How?"

"Oops" she giggles and I raise my eyebrow.

"Did she tell you? How?"

"Last week she told me and I said it was okay as long as you were home by 11pm" I laugh.

"Don't you have to work Sunday ma?" she shakes her head no, "I took the day off so you could enjoy yourself without worries babygirl" I smile. "Thank you ma"

She nods, "now sit and eat, I made you fettucine" I wash my hands and sit down as she puts a big plate of fettucine in front of me.

"You know ma, Alex says she makes some really good fettucine too"

"Well I'll be the judge of that" I laugh and I eat.

*Later That Night*

"-and she said she'll be the judge of that" Alex laughs.

"Wow, so she's really going to judge my cooking?" I nod and I look at her.

"Good luck with that. She's a tough one" we both laugh.

I'm currently facetiming Alex as I'm finishing up my homework. I look at the clock that's next to my bed and I see it's 9:24pm. We've only been on the phone for about half an hour maybe. This is the first time we ever facetimed, it's usually just a regular phone call.

"So are you excited for your surprise on Sunday?" I nod as I write down an answer to a question.

"I want to see where the oh most famous Alex, will take me" I laugh and she smiles, "well I know you're going to love it"

I put my computer and notebook away.

"Done?" I nod and look at her. "I'll finish what I didn't do tomorrow" I grab my phone and lay down in bed putting my phone against a pillow facing me. "You work tomorrow don't you?" she nods.

"Yes, I always work Saturdays" I nod and yawn covering my mouth. "Aweee, someone is tired"

"Oh shut up" we both laugh and I smile, "I'm not tired, I can stay up longer"
