*5 years later*
*Josie's PoV*
"Jake! Crystal! Bring your little butts over here now!" I keep chasing them around the house. They giggle as they run away from me. I saw Alex leaning against a wall.
"Hey baby, when did you get back?" I go up to her and kiss her. She returns the kiss grabbing my hips. "I got back like ten minutes ago, I've seen you chase them the whole time" my mouth opens.
"Baby why didn't you help me?"
"Well I'm too tired"
"You want something to eat so then you can take a nap?" She nods and we go in the kitchen.
"Jake! Crystal! Daddy's home from work" they run in the kitchen and hug her legs.
Jake and Crystal are twins, they're 3 years old. I named our baby boy after my little brother.
I make some fettuccine.
"So how was work bebe?" I ask.
"Well I say overwhelming, but it was alright. Did you work?" I nod.
"Sure did. Emergency room nurses don't have many days off these past few weeks. Worked the past two nights"
"The babysitter was fine with watching the twins both nights?"
"She knows we both work a lot in the hospital, she literally doesn't mind at all. Plus we pay her good remember?" She laughs and I turn to see the twins sitting in her legs.
I look down at my ring and smile.
We got married a year after I moved here with her. And we started attempting trying to get me pregnant a while after we got married. We failed several times but after a year, I got pregnant and I was shocked knowing we were having twins.
But then again, having twins run in the family.
"Baby what are you thinking about?" I turn to look at Alex and our kids and smile.
"Why are you smiling mommy?" Jake asks.
"I'm smiling at how lucky I am"

We were finishing up eating when there's a knock on the door. I look at Alex confused and she shrugs. I get up and walk to the front door. There's another knock and I open the door.
"You're really here!" I get crushed in a hug.
The girl moves away from the hug, and I finally have a clear look at her face.
"I missed you so much sissy"
Sofie.
"Who's at the- oh" Alex stops next to me and the twins hide behind our legs looking at her.
"Oh my god Sofie- how did you-" I cover my mouth and hug her again.
"Who is she?" Crystal asks.
