*3 days later; Josie's PoV*

Alex was nice enough to give me a ride home on this cold and rainy day. Today was Friday, aka the last day of school for this semester so it's now winter break.

"So are you going to the party Ricky is throwing later tonight?" I ask her and she shakes her head no, "nah I'll just chill at home"

"Oh come on! It'll be fun! I'm going with my friends, and it won't be complete if you don't go" I look at her and pout.

She stops driving and see we were in line for Starbucks.

"Stop pouting. Last time you and I were at the same party I called you a whore" I laugh.

"But that was with her. This time you is single and we're for real friends now. It'll be fun, please?" I keep pouting hoping she'll say yes.

She looks at me and groans pushing me away and I laugh.

"Fine! Do you want a ride there?" I nod. "Evelyn is gonna need a ride too" she nods.

"So she actually agreed?" I nod looking at Evelyn.

"It's going to be fun!" I look through my closet once again debating on what to wear.

Evelyn was wearing ripped jeans with a flowered top and sneakers.

I look at the time and see it's 8:46pm.

Alex is picking us up at 9pm so I don't have a lot of time to choose.

I throw on some shorts and small yellow crop top with Alex's black jacket that I never gave back on Sunday. I put on my sneakers and look at myself in the mirror.

"Damn you look hot" Evelyn says and I smile shrugging a little bit.

"I guess so" we both laugh and I sit down next to her.

"So this is your first party?" She nods a little bit embarrassed.

"And your parents think you're here for a sleepover?" She nods again.

"Technically it will be a sleepover" she shrugs and I smile.

"Sneaky still" she laughs.

"Let's go downstairs. Alex should be here in a few" we walk downstairs and I see Jake and Sofie playing with Jackie, one of my cousins, from my mom's side of the family. I guess she's the one taking care of the twins tonight.

"Oh hey Jacks" she looks at me and I raise my eyebrow.

"New piercing?" She nods and stands up and hugs me. She hugs Evelyn too.

"Wow she's pretty" I hear Evelyn say and I laugh.

"She's alright" Jackie pushes me softly and she smiles.

"Party?" I nod.

Let me tell you a bit about Jackie.

She's 20. She has soft caramel skin with brown hair. She has tongue piercing and now an eyebrow piercing. Really pretty chocolate eyes. She's studying something about art in college, I think. She's really nice and goofy, like me, but you don't want to get on her bad side, she's a real monster when mad. Oh yeah she got a girlfriend, she's lesbian. They've been dating for 3 years by now.

"How's Jenni?"

"I'm doing great" I look behind her and I see her.

"Heyyy" we hug and she smiles.
