Chapter 10

He...he got hurt in a car accident! My friend Merrisa told me he was hurt really bad! What if I never see him again?"Anna said. "Look he'll be ok! Don't worry! Merrisa is there and she'll give you all the information you need about him! I bet she'll be right next to him telling him about you and how smart and brilliant you are after everything is all right!"I said to her kneeling beside her and hugging her. "Thanks!"Anna said and hugged me. "I'm goin to bed now. Night Maddy! I smiled at her and said,"You're welcome and good night! We both changed into night clothes and went to bed.
[Time Skip]
I woke up the next morning and didn't hear anything but waves crashing outside the boat's walls. I turned to my right and realized Anna and her suitcase and pythons weren't there! I quick got up and left to go find her. I looked in the hallways seeing if she'll be there. She wasn't! I even asked people if they saw her. No one did. This made me start to worry! Did she leave to go see her boyfriend? Without me? And not telling me? I needed more information about this! I kept looking around and asking people. Nothing! "Maddy!"I heard someone say and saw Toby. I walked towards him. "Not now Toby! I'm trying to find Anna!" I said. "Oh....by the way, I saw her leaving this morning and I asked her where she was going and why you weren't with her. She said that her boyfriend or friend got hurt so she's going back home to go see if he's ok!"Toby said. "What!"I said. "Yeah! Oh, and she said thanks for helping her last night about it,"He said. "I'm going!"I said. "What?" "I'm going after her! I don't want her to be there by herself 'til she gets there!"I said. I started running towards me and Anna's room. Well....my room! "Wait! Maddy what about us?"Toby said. "Well if you love me go after me! If you don't then don't go after me! I love you Toby but right now my friend is more important. I love her! She's like a sister to me! I have to go after her!"I said. I made it to my room with Toby behind me. "I do love you but.."Toby said til I cut him off. "But what!? You are just going to run off again like last time? And play games with me?"I asked madly. "No! I just....it's just that there's something I found out that's goin to affect my life forever!"Toby said. "What is it?"I asked. "I have cancer."He said. My heart sank. He has Cancer? Oh my gosh! "Toby.....I'm so sorry!"I said. "Lung cancer! It'll affect my breathing especially if I run for a long time or something. And if I go after you I'm afraid goin to get hurt. A lot of traveling will affect it! I'm sorry Maddy! I do love you but..."Toby said. "You have cancer. Ok. I get it. You can't go then."I said. I tear stroke down my face hearing the words he said. I grabbed my bags and locked the door, seeing the last of my room on this cruise. I kissed Toby on the cheek. "Bye. Ill miss you!"I said. "Bye...sorry,"He said. I walked away from Toby with tears streaming down my face. First Anna and now Toby! What am I going to do! He has cancer and I can't be here to help him! OMG!🙊😕😧
[Julia's POV]
I woke up right next to Nash. Seeing him sleep makes me smile! He looks so cute! I grab my phone and see two texts and one is from Maddy and Anna.
•Anna- Hey! I'm sorry I'm not goin to be at your wedding to be able to help plan it! Austin, my boyfriend got in a really bad car crash and I want be there to see if he's ok! Tell Maddy and the others when you can! Sorry Julia! Love you! And have a great wedding!
•Maddy- Hey Hulia! I can't be at your wedding! I'm going after Anna to make sure she's ok when she goes after to see if Austin is ok! And I'm already having a bad day! First Anna! Now Toby! He just told me he had cancer! Please be there for me to help him! I hope you understand why I can't be there at the wedding! I love you Hulia! Happy earlier wedding day!
When I read both of the texts I couldn't believe two of my best friends won't be there when the best day of my life comes, which is tomorrow! I text them both back saying that it's fine and I hope they'll be ok. I put my phone down after I texted both of them. I looked over at Nash, who was awake. "Hey babe! What's wrong?"Nash asked. "Anna and Maddy aren't going to be at the wedding! Anna is going to see her boyfriend because he got hurt and Maddy is going after her! And Maddy's boyfriend has cancer so Imma try to take care of him whenever I can!"I said to Nash. "Babe, don't worry! We still have Gabby, Cam, Matt, Kaley, Noa, and Makenzie at the wedding! And other people on the cruise! And I promise you, it'll be the best wedding ever!"he said back. Then he kissed me and covered me over the blankets and started tickling me. "Nash! Stop! Please stop! I can't breath!"I said while laughing. "Fine. I'll do this then!"Nash said. Then he kissed me on the cheek and I couldn't stop smiling. "I love you!"I said. "I love you more!"Nash said back.
[Time Skip]
After me and Nash got dressed properly and out of bed clothes we met up with the others to go see Hayes before he leaves. We all went out on the deck so everyone can say goodbye, especially Makenzie. I went up to Hayes and gave him a hug. "Bye! Have a good time acting! I can't wait to have a brother in law! Love you soon to be brother!"I said. Hayes started laughing. "I will! And be a good wife for my brother! He can sometimes be a little mean or annoying but you'll get used to it! So cut him some slack! Love you...sister in law!"He said back. He then went up to Nash and gave him a hug and smiled. "You take care of her ok? Be the best husband for her! Don't be stupid and see other gals ok? I know you'll be best husband but I'll miss you!"Hayes said to Nash. "I will and I'll miss you too! I'll protect her and everything I can do to be the best husband I can be! Bye bruh"Nash said. Hayes then went up to everyone else and saved a special someone for last, Makenzie!
[Hayes's POV]
After I said goodbye to everyone, I saved someone who I knew is going to struggle saying goodbye for last. Makenzie. I went up to her and held her hands in my mine. "I'll miss you most of all. I'm sorry I have to leave like this. I don't want leave you but being in this movie will lead me to a big time career! But most of all, I won't forget about you. I love you Makenzie!"I said. A tear stroke down the side of my face. Her eyes began to let out tears like rain on a gray rainy day. "Hayes, Imma miss you....miss you too. I love you and I'll be thinking of you and never stop till I see you again!"Makenzie said. I kissed her cheek and let go of her hands, slowly and all at once. I saw her eyes filled with tears and it made me cry. I love her! Love her so much that I have to let her go! It hurts. I looked at her and smiled. I went to the front of the boat and waited til we got to a dock to let me off. I kept thinking of Makenzie! I love her, so much. But I still didn't want to let her go but I knew it was the right thing to do. Tears fell from my face and I sat down waitin...waiting for my new life...life without Makenzie to begin.😔
