Chapter 17

Naina's POV

Rajveer went out of the kitchen and I was trying to get back to normal. I stop blushing and went out. I sat on the last empty chair which was beside Rajveer. We started eating our breakfast when suddenly something creased on my foot. I avoided it but it started again and I realised  it was somebody's leg. Only one person could do it was him.

I looked at Rajveer and he was giving me a naughty look. I glared at him but it seems to have no effect on him. He moving his leg in a certain pattern. I stomped his foot lightly and he screamed grabbing everyone's attention.

"What happened Bhai?" Ruhi ask him.

"What happened to you are you ok?" I asked him making an innocent face. I pretended not to know anything.

"Nothing" he said and glared at me. I was controlling my laughter. Everyone again resumed eating the breakfast silently.

"Bhabhi when are you going to join your work back?" Ruhi asked me breaking the silence. Everyone was looking at me. "I will join from tomorrow." I said.

"What is the need for you to work as your husband earns really well? Don't you think you should take permission from the elders first before deciding anything." Rahul's mom said. What is her problem?

"She doesn't need anyone's permission to continue her career." Dad said the same thing he said when I went to ask him about joining again.

"But never have any daughter-in-law of this family ever gone to work." She said looking at me in anger.

"There's always a first time for everything and I have no problem with it. Bhabhi." Dad said ending the conversation. Everyone had their breakfast silently and left.

Rajveer dropped me at my office and went from there. I went inside and asked Shreya about all the things that happened in my absence. I am having a really big show happening in three days. I am excited for it but nervous also as only three days are left.

I got engrossed in my work that I didn't realised it was lunch time. I received a call and I picked it without looking at the caller name.

"Hello Beautiful." Came the voice from other side. How dare he to call me that? Who the hell is he?

"How dare you to call me that and who the hell are you?" I said in anger.

"I am your lovely husband and I and only I can dare to call you that." He said. I looked at the mobile screen and it was Rajveer's call. My god! Why always I behave in a stupid way?

"I am really sorry. I didn't know it was you." I said in a low tone.

"It's ok. Beautiful. I called you as it is lunch time so I taught to take you out. Would you like to come with me?" he asked me.

"I would love to but I can't as there is a lot of work pending. I am really sorry." I said in an apologizing way.

"No problem but have your lunch soon. Bye. Beautiful" he said and cut the call. I again got engage back with my work. Soon it was time to leave, Rajveer came to pick me and we left for home.

We entered the home and suddenly a girl of my age came and hugged him. Even Rajveer hugged her back smiling. Do they know each other? I looked at them and saw that she was looking at me with anger. Why is she looking at me like that? Who is she?
