Chapter 39

Naina's POV

Thank God that Rajveer didn't asked anything about yesterday's incident. He wouldn't have believed in my lies and I wouldn't have been able to say the truth.

I came down and saw Ruhi talking to a handsome man of around my age. I went near them and greeted them. She told me that he is going to organize today's party. They continue their chat and I started moving towards the kitchen.

I saw that breakfast was already served on the dinning table. I thought mom made it but then Ragini came with a plate of dhokla in her hand. Did she make all this but why? She passed a sly smile to me. What is wrong with this girl? What is she trying to prove by doing all this?

Everyone came except for Rajveer and started eating and praised her. I was just toying with my food as seeing her all my hunger vanished. Everyone left for their respective work.

I went behind Ragini in the kitchen. She saw me and ignored me and placed the plates in the sink. She was about to go when I stopped her.

"Why are you doing all this? What will you get from it?" I asked her. The hatred which she had for me was disturbing me.

"You snatched my love from me. How can I let you live in peace?" she said with extreme hatred.

"But now he is married to me and he is happy with me. Why don't you leave us alone and find someone who will love and cherish you." I said her trying to put some sense in her.

"Rajveer belong to me. He is just trying to adjust with you. Soon he will realize and leave you and come to me." she said spitting venom in her words.

"In your dreams baby. He belongs to me as he is written in my destiny." I said to her and she was glaring me. I left the kitchen. My hubby's psycho lover is making me crazy. God please give me strength to handle her.

My thoughts went back to yesterday's incident. The way Rajveer handled me was really surprising. He took care of me like a child. He carried me till our room and said soothing words in my ear to calm me. I have never felt so safe with anyone before. The way he cherishes me makes me feel special. I will confess my feelings to him after the party. I can't hide this anymore.

My thoughts were broken by a sudden jerk. I was about to fall down as Ragini pushed me.

"Be careful Naina." She said with a smirk. This girl will make me mad. I am just stopping myself from killing her.

I came in the hall and Ruhi asked me to help her. Rajveer came and stood near the door and was staring at us. He came and stood beside me and looked at me lovingly. He continue to stare at me like that for a long time without saying anything. Ruhi gave me teasing look. He informed me that he was going in the study. Why didn't he asked me anything about yesterday's incident? Did he got to know the reason for my fear? No! How will he get to know? Nobody knows about it. I sigh in relief and got back doing our work.

The venue of the party was the same hotel were our reception party took place. We went to see the party decoration and then went to my boutique to select dress for the party.

We reached home and realized that we need to go and get ready otherwise we would be late. I came inside the room and quickly got ready.I finally got the call for which I was waiting for so long.
