Chapter 46

Naina's POV

I rushed towards them and pulled her out of Rajveer's arms. I slapped her with all the strength I had in my body. She looked at me in utter shock. What did the she thought that I would allow her to hug my husband?

She got up furiously and raised her hand to slap me. I was about to react but Rajveer pulled me behind and stood in front of me. She slapped Rajveer. Oh My God!

"I am sorry Rajveer. I was going to slap Naina but you came between. Is it paining? I am so sorry." Ragini said with her fake concern.

"How dare you try to slap my wife? I warned you last time only that if you hurt her in any way. I won't tolerate it. She is my life if you ever try to harm her you will see my worst side." He said in extreme anger. 'She is my life' just those words were ringing in my mind. I was feeling extremely blessed to have him as my life partner. Ragini was shivering in fear seeing his anger.

"You said that Naina tried to frame you in all this matter. You said that you did all this with the guidance of your dear brother Rahul a few minutes ago. Do you think we are deaf to not hear it?" He asked her sarcastically.

"I said that in fear. I didn't mean it." She said shaking in fear.

"Tell me. Why did you do it?" Rajveer asked her in a loud tone. She was standing there like a statue.

"Speak up dammit." Rajveer said.

"I love you Rajveer. I did all that to get your love. From childhood I have been hearing from maasi that I will be your bride one day. I will come in this house as your wife. She came in between us otherwise we both would have got married to each other. It all happened because of her. I will kill her." She said and came towards me and griped my neck. I was choked and it was getting difficult for me to breath. Everyone tried to stop her. Finally, she was pulled away from me. I was coughing badly. I was trying to breath again normally.

"Are you alright?" Rajveer asked me with concern.

"Yes. I am fine." I said. I was panting badly.

"Rajveer I really love you. Please divorce her and marry me. I know you were forced to marry her." Ragini said. She was behaving like a mad person repeating the same words again and again. Mom slapped her to make her come back in sense.

"We treated you like our own daughter and you back-stabbed us. How dare you tried to spoil my son's life? You would have never been married to him. He never loved you. You were just a friend to him. He got married to Naina because he loved her. Nobody forced him." Mom said firmly.

"I told you that our son would never do something like that. We have raised him well. He knows how to respect relations." Mom said to dad with pride.

"Rajveer call the police. Everybody should know that they can't just go away like that after hurting my kids." Mom said making everyone shock.

"Chachi why are you calling the police. It's a family matter. We can solve it here only." Rahul said with fear. It was nice to see him like that.

"Rajveer call the police right now." Mom said loudly. Rajveer went aside to make that call.

"Arun tell your wife not to call police. It will damage are reputation. Stop her" Rahul's dad said to dad.

"No bhai she is not doing anything wrong. Your son needs to get punished. What if something would have happened to my son because of the drug." Dad said firmly.

"Now say why did you do that with your own brother?" Dad asked Rahul. I could clearly see that Rahul was shaking in fear under dad's stare. Rahul came and stood beside me.

"I did it in jealousy. I was jealous that his company got the deal and I didn't get. I realised that Naina is totally my type. I started to like Naina and wanted to have her in my life. I wanted to separate them as I wasn't able to see them together. I knew that Ragini loved Rajveer so I just manipulated her." Rahul said shamelessly. I was feeling disgusted with his words. Rajveer was fuming in anger. I griped his hand to stop him from hitting Rahul.

Dad slapped him with so much force that the corner of his lips started bleeding. 

"Mind your words. You are talking about my daughter. She is not your toy that you will have it when you want it and throw it when you done playing with it." Dad said in anger. I was overwhelmed with his words. He cared for me more than my own dad ever did.

Soon police came and we handed them all the proofs. They took both Ragini and Rajveer with them. Rahul's family went behind them.

"Mam I will leave now." Shreya said and left.

"You shouldn't have called police. It will affect our business." My dad said. What can I expect from my Dad? Business. Even if I am dead, he will only care about his business and reputation.

"We care more about our family than our business. We don't like outsider interfering in our family matters. You may leave now" Dad said. My parents left.

"I am really sorry. I shouldn't have slapped you yesterday." Dad said and folded hands in front of Rajveer. Rajveer stopped dad from doing that.

"Dad what are you doing? I am your son. You have all the rights to hit me." Rajveer said.

"Make something sweet. Finally, everything is alright now." Dad said to mom.

"Yes. I am so happy. My son is proved innocent. I will go and make kheer for everyone." Mom said beaming in happiness.
