Chapter 43

Rajveer's POV

"Don't you trust me?" Naina asked me in a sad tone.

I cupped her face but she was not even looking at me.

"You are my wife Naina. I trust you the most." I said and kissed her on her forehead.

"Now tell me the whole truth that you know. Please" I requested her.

"That day when you had gone for the meeting. I and Ragini had a conversation. She stated that you both were madly in love with each other and you just married me because the situation demanded. You both were about to get married to each other and I am just a burden on you." She said making me shock. What the hell?

"This is all nonsense. There was nothing between us except friendship. Has she lost her mind? Don't trust her. She lied to you but why?" I said loudly.

"I was somewhat disturbed hearing all that but Ruhi came at my office and told me all the truth." She said. What did Ruhi told her? She started narrating the things that happened that day.

Naina's POV

I started to remember everything that happened that day. I was really behaving irrational that day. Thanks to Ruhi for making me realize

Flashback

That day after Ragini said all those toxic words. I left for the office. I was really disturb and restless.

"Ruhi. You came here. Is everything alright?" I asked her

"Bhabhi I heard your conversation with Ragini." She said.

"Ruhi What are you talking about?" I acted to be ignorant to avoid the topic.

"Bhabhi She is just lying to you. Bhai doesn't love her and he never did. She is just trying to manipulate you and create misunderstanding between both of you. Even a blind person can say that how madly he is in love with you. Everyone is not lucky enough to get somebody who will love them so much. Please Bhabhi I beg you don't spoil your married life because of her." She said in a serious tone. I have never seen her so serious before.

I didn't know how to react. I have always thought of her as a care free, innocent girl who is pampered by everyone but right now she was talking like a really mature and sensible person. Her words clearly indicated that she is in love with somebody but with whom?

"Are you in love with anyone Ruhi?" I asked her. She looked horrified. Her face lost all its emotions.

"No Bhabhi. I don't love anyone and it is not important right now." She said in a bit sad tone.

"But Ruhi...." I tried to speak but she interrupted me.

"Please Bhabhi think about what I said and don't let her succeed in her plan. She can really plan something nasty don't go by her innocent face. I will leave now. Bye Bhabhi." She said and left my cabin before I could ask her anything.

I just sat on my chair and was analysing her words. She is right I can't let a third person to ruin anything.

Flashback ends

I narrated him only the part where Ruhi was making me understand. I wasn't sure about how the brother in Rajveer would react on knowing that Ruhi loves somebody.

"You think that she did all this to separate both of us. Really. Has she gone nuts? She will have to pay for it." Rajveer said in anger.

"She will surely get punish for her deeds but not now. We need to know who helped her. Who is that man and if there is anybody else helping her?" I said.

Rajveer's POV

She is right that man needs to be exposed otherwise he will again plan something

"Amit sent me the hotel's corridor footage but his face was covered so I couldn't identify him." I said to her in disappointment.

"Let's check the footage of the room. I think we will be able to see that man's face in that. Wait let us see." She said and I was just staring at her. She is kidding right? Is she really talking about room's footage? How did she get it?

She played the footage, it showed that the man only took me in the room. He removed my shirt and soon Ragini also came. She made all those scratches on my back and kissed me on my neck making sure to leave a mark. I was feeling disgusted and just felt like killing both of them. The man left the room he had his face covered all the time. Ragini was about to remove her dress. Before I could pause the video, Naina closed my eyes with her palms.

"No need to see further. Close your eyes." she said in a bossy tone.

"You call me Mr jealous wifey. Look at you getting so much jealous right now." I said and winked at her. She slowly removed her hands from my eyes.

Before she could say anything else, she got a call from Ruhi. She talked with her and got up from the couch.

"I need to go before anyone wakes up. Bye." She said and started moving towards the room door.

"First tell me. How did you get this video?" I asked her.

"Ruhi will tell you that later. I need to go now." She left the room. I followed her. Ruhi was with her till they reached the main door. They were carefully moving trying not to come in anyone's sight. I need to talk with Ruhi. I need to know everything.
