november 10th hawkins' middle - wheeler's residence
"come on." mike closed and locked the audio visual room door.
"so this is the nerds club room?" tilly grinned as she looked around, "it's cute."
"now what?" dustin asked as el sat down.
"she'll find him." mike explained, "right, el?"
the girl didn't reply so he walked forward and turned the radio frequency up while el shut her eyes.
"she's doing it." mike exclaimed, "she's finding him!"
"don't get your pants in a twist." tilly crossed her arms.
"this is crazy." dustin sighed.
"calm down." lucas rolled his eyes, "she just closed her eyes."
the light on top of them shut down, causing the four to gasp.
"holy..."
"gnarly." tilly grinned.
there was clanging noises coming from the speaker which made tilly more intrigued.
"what is that?" dustin questioned.
"mum?" will byers' scared voice was heard.
"no way!"
"holy shit." tilly clutched her head in agony.
"mum..." will continued, "please..."
her head was throbbing and she felt her strength and stability draining straight out of her body.
"mum! mum!"
"will!" mike yelled.
"will, it's us! are you there?" lucas shouted.
"can you hear us?" dustin asked, "we're here!"
"what is going on?" tilly asked while tugging her hair in pain. the three overlooked her as they were too preoccupied with will and they knew what was happening to her.
"hello? mum?"
"why can't he hear us?" lucas panicked.
"why can't you hear me?" tilly croaked, her knees on the ground.
"i don't know." mike snapped at lucas.
"mum? mum!"
a growling of a monster was heard from the background.
"eleven, stop it!" tilly held her head.
"mum...mum, it's coming! it's like home, but it's so dark... it's so dark and empty. and it's cold! mum? mum! mum, please!"
