hawkins lab - the junkyard
"mom?" will croaked as he woke up.
joyce gasped, "hey."
"is there a doctor?" bob stepped out the room, "we need a doctor!"
"sweetie, how you feeling?" joyce smiled at him as mike woke up, "you okay?"
"he's up." mike shook tilly.
"i'm up." tilly rubbed her eyes.
bob jogged back in, "okay, they're on their way... hey."
"who is that?" will asked his mother, motioning to bob.
"what?" joyce whispered, "what?"
"it's me, big guy. it's bob." bob reminded him.
"are you a... doctor?" will quizzed.
anxiety flooded through tilly's body, fear of her friend forgetting about her.
"no. no, it's just me." bob frowned, "just-just bob."

"do you know your name?" dr owens asked as he beamed a mini torch into will's pupils.
"will."
"your full name?" dr owens quizzed.
"william byers."
"do you know-do you know who i am?"
"a doctor." will stated.
"have we met before?" dr owens interrogated.
"i... don't remember." will admitted.
"hmm. you don't remember me?" dr owens frowned before pointing to mike, "okay. how about, uh... how about this guy here? know who that is?"
mike gave his friend a small smile and a wave as will stared at him blankly.
"it's all right. take your time." dr owens reassured him.
"that's my friend. mike." will spoke.
"and the young lady next to him?" dr owens inquired.
will's gaze shifted to tilly. when they made eye contact, tilly could tell and something was off.
"that's mattie, my other friend." will explained.
tilly sighed in relief and gave him a smile.
"do you know who i am, will?" daniel pronounced.
